Very little people have a 4 star heated weapon that is lvl 10 right? So the reason crystals are only 4* is because their has to be a fair chance. For people to have a head-start it was put in early. See? OOO wasn't being dumb just really smart! This also explains why orb rates were bigger.Now it is easier for us all to get this lovely weapons. It wasn't so bad after all.

^ You forget, it is very expensive (eventually) to convert them. Like 500 crowns for itn Say you need 70 shinings to get to lvl 10. You would need (.6)(70) radiants , or 42 radiants. Then, you need to convert 14 times to get the shininggs. That is 7k crowns in addition.
Add that up over all levels and its a decent amount. But since FSC netted more than enough cr in addition, it kinda works out.

You can just turn radiants into even more shining. The shining issue is still a downgrade from before imo.

Well, I dont understand this change...
About the "uuuhh 500cr per craft crystals, uuuhhh tooo expansive"
See, if u do an VANA run, skipping boss(24-27):
-You farm 8,2k.
-To make 50 Shinings I was using 30 rads(10x craft). What means 5k(500x10).
-Then i save 3k.
That was what i did before... but now... just... floors17-27 PURE SHINNINGS? Theres something wrong there.
1- Some update with more floors then 29 to have radiants.
OR
2- I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND ANY OTHER REASON.

The only reason I would see is so that people could level a Graviton Bomb, Blackhawk, and Silent Nightblade to lvl 10 faster for the event weapons. Other than that I do not see the point to lowering the radiant drop rate.

You can turn 3 Radiant Fire Crystals into 5 Shining Fire Crystals at the alchemy machine.
There was never a shortage of Shining Fire Crystals.
There are fewer Shining Fire Crystals now than there were before because we can't turn Radiants into Shinings anymore.
