Gremlin-themed Event?

So, with the addition of the Shroud of Apocrea event, we've now got two periodic non-holiday events that are focused on undead, the other being Kataclysmic Confrontation.

While I enjoy this current event, my thinking is, why do we have ANOTHER undead event? Especially when undead/evil are so rampant in this game. What I'd love to see is some sort of gremlin-themed event. I don't have any idea about the specifics, but just something Gremlin-related would be fun. Gremlin costumes, gremlin gear, that sort of thing.

Thoughts?

The Shroud of Apocrea has a unique monster and new content. I'm glad OOO has decided to put something new into the game instead of rehashes, the whole event feels fresh in my opinion.
I don't really think we need a Gremlin event because of Operation Crimson Hammer. I agree with Valorai however, nothing is ever about the poor slimes. I personally would love a Sloom danger mission or DLC

I could go for some slime themed action too. But I feel that gremlins could involve constructs and jelly as well, bringing in a nice variety of creatures to face.

The diabolical confrontation?

Herex has broke out of his lab and with him comes a new generation of mutant Gremlin super soldier. Hunt down these mad experiments in Herex's hideout scattered across the clockwork and retrieve the valueble specimen (token) hidden within!
Sounds fun eh?

I think the tentacles of the Apocreans in the Shroud of Apocrea mission are programmed after the tentacles of the Battlepod in Ghosts of the Machine.
