My question is:
Will any of the new Apocrea-related items (thinking about sigils, materials) expire with the event?

Why do devs/GMs answer small questions like this one (no offense intended to the OP), but they never show up in those threads where people make complaints about "new" content and/or debatable changes to game mechanics/items?
Because they don't want to feel more depressed with your guy's negativity toward everything they do.

Because way back in the beta the GM's used up all of their forum battery life, and now they need to recharge, like alot. + I already wrecked Eury's in 2011 when I was Forum-Mite.

It's because his question is really easy and quick to answer.
Also, if he didn't answer it, we'd just get several pages of speculation, with no one being able to provide any definitive statement (until after the event).

Apocrea-related items will never expire. You can always check the tooltips of an item for expiration dates. If there isn't one listed, it will never expire.
