Obsidian weapons' charge attacks

Is it just me or are the tentacles kinda... unpolished?

They look... ... plasticky...? Like they didn't put any proper texture on it and just colored it purple. It just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the game. Unless you count the awfully tacky UI. Then it fits perfectly.

Not that I mind that much, though, with how awesome the charge attacks look like with all these tentacles of doom sprouting out of the ground to dilacerate those defenseless gremlins and jellies into thousands and thousands of tiny pieces, unrecogni... ahem...

...

The tentacles do look a bit out of place. Maybe that's the intention?

The tentacles should trap your foes!

(am i the only one who thinks the "stuck" timer should be nerfed?)

I'd say they just got lazy. Though if they didn't actually want it to look weird, they could have used the same tentacles as the ones the monster uses. But what do I know about game making, anyway? I'm glad I'm not the only one that finds it "strange".

I'm ok with how long we get trapped. It encourages teamwork (or at least should), with one player watching another's back.

And about the tentacles trapping our foes... no! If they did that how else would we dilacerate our enemies into thousand and thousands of tiny pieces, unrecognizable for anyone passing by?!?

It's much easier to DVS charge my enemies if they can't run away.
