Since i have this weird question burning my brain, it's time to ask.
Will the Apocrea level(s) go away for a bit when dark harvest ends?
I have a really, really irritating thought about this.

I certainly hope not, but its most likely the case...
Personally I would like to learn more about not just Apocrea, but the Apocrean realm itself.
Is the Apocrean realm actually inside the clockworks or are we being dragged into another world outside of Cradle? Is the Apocrean realm a thriving place or is it like Almire? Do the Apocrea have a soul quota or do they just mindlessly collect them? Do they have a hierarchy? Are there any other creatures that inhabit the Apocrean realm besides the souls and the Apocrea?
Perhaps the Apocrean realm is the next "tier" that we have to run through, after all, having dark creatures assaulting knights in the clockworks could be very alarming, especially since the ones we find at the end of the Shroud of Apocrea mission are no longer alive.
...Are the inhabitants of the Apocrean realm aware of the existence of the core and would it interest them since there since there might be a being of sentience in there? What would a swarm infected Apocrea look like??????
Even if the Apocrean realm couldn't be the tier 4, I still think that it would be a very fasinating place to explore and a source for a potential enemy class. It also has potential for a lot of stories to be told about the lore or other events that are happening in the Apocrean realm. Could the Apocrea reach into the surface like haven and kidnap someone of importance? Feron....Korra....Konway!?!?
Don't mind me, i'm just going to sit in the corner and continue to spout out ideas......expansion perhaps?

It Is A Limited Time Mission
As Nick said on the patch notes, "'Shroud of the Apocrea' is a new Prestige Mission for knights available for a limited time". From this, we can conclude that Shroud of the Apocrea will be eventually removed; HOWEVER, Nick did not explicitly state when the mission would become unavailable. Hopefully it lasts a few weeks after the Dark Harvest for the sake of being able to actually craft the obsidian items ^_^.
