I looked at some posts and people said that Apocrea thing or harvester is the new boss,while it's not the new boss and I looked at the post thinking really in my head.The question still is WHAT IS THE NEW BOSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I don't mean all people just some people.

I doubt the Apocrea is gremlin related. It's definitely other worldly. I wouldnt be surprise if it's Swarm related, because there are a few subtle parallels.
I also kept thinking about the Matrix (robots harvesting babies for batteries) due to the crop analogy (mysterious figures harvesting souls for batteries). Disregarding the Matrix for a second, I would assume that the boss is said "crop" harvester. It's either farming the freed souls, hiding in cracks and corners (i.e. the tombstones), or it's trying to harvest you. Probably both.

no one knowns for sure, but my guess is a gremlin (No, I dont count the boss of OCH a real boss). The reason why I think that is the massive influx of shadow weaponry (obsidian weapons, the grim repeater, etc). There is not much you can do with so many shadow weaponry other than facing slimes and gremlins. Though I might just be over thinking it I do hope to see the new levels leading to the boss be something other than undead and fiends.
