The Biohazard and it current position

The Biohazard is in a odd spot right now. Right now it is outranked by the Neutralizer as a catalyzer and the only real thing it had going for it was its shadow/poison, but now even that is shared with something else (Obsidian Carbine). Everything the Bio is is getting beat by better things. AOE poison can come from many sources (Virulent quills, Vials, Haze, etc), the blast damage is beat by Neutralizer, and even as a shadow weapon there are better choices (Umbra and Carbine).

I love the biohazard class as it is something unique but everything that is unique about it happens to be shared by other weapons. At this time I do not feel like there is a real point in picking Biohazard, and this makes me sad since it could be such a amazing weapon.

Let's see what the general gun rework does first.

I suspect it won't improve anything for Biohazard, but I want to see first.

I do not think the Biohazard gets enough exposure for it to be buffed in gun update, but I surely hope so.

Biohazard beats Carbine at close-range shadow/poison work ATM.

Increase its clip to 5

Increase its clip to 5 bullets, and increase damage so that the neutral damage matches that of valiance.

You dont really use a Bio for its normal shots so increasing the clip would do little to help. A buff to its damage might be the right way to go, or increase the speed of catalyzers charge shots in general.

@Exerpa

I would mind a change to elemental damage, people might finally use it (even if only for FSC).

Slow bullets with no knockback - great for mindgames in LD. OK for killing jellies too :)

I call a do-over for

I call a do-over for Biohazard, since these new Apocrean weapons are dwarfing its exposure. Not to mention the way it works is kind of long-winded - time-consuming charges meant to be detonated in groups. Its not good a CC but the damage is something but it is still too long-winded for me to use.
