"The Coliseum Forum" is a piece of garbage because all people talk about is Lockdown. Complaining about people being too OP, trolls trolling. Lockdown is unbalanced, mind you. Why don't people TALK about Blast Network? Why don't people even PLAY Blast Network? It's balanced, intense, and strategic, and you don't need fancy armors to play. "Blast Network provides all the gear to play, so no preparation is required to get in on the action," it said.

Just tell me why you don't play Blast Network.

Bomberman with high amounts of lag.

I used to play it but I haven't touched it in a long time.

It is PvP bomberman, only with a bit of lag and akward movement. More people need to play.

Have you considered the fact that the balance is the cause to it being a ghost town?

Every time I play Blast Network, I'm caught in an explosion I dodged half a second ago.

The main reasons I don't play are lag and lag. Usually, lag gets to me before I can have any fun. The lag that appears once in a all the time is also a little frustrating. Aside from that, I really hate the lag, and then there's the lag, which is even more annoying.

Also, my ASI Acheron doesn't work there, so poo to that.

It is a game of experience. Most people will quit after playing a few games, dying 8-12 times at each game. It takes a lot of practice to get from 10 deaths/game to 6 deaths/game (that's the case if you are a noob like me), and people are simply not that patient. And connection is also a deciding factor, half a second matters. For instance, people with low ping won't have hard time putting a second bomb on an incoming blast's way and get away, while the other guy with average connection won't be able to dodge it. However, no matter how good their connection is, inexperienced players don't stand a chance against a lagging good player.

In SK, I either play BN or PvE. There's been a lot of great events recently and I just passed a HoH so I'm doing PvE for a while here. As opposed to Zeddy, I love BN for the strategy and because I always survive the three blasts I ran into half a second ago.

BN doesn't really feel like a competition because what the competition is is who can kill the noobs the fastest.

My internet is decent, having 3-4 bars almost all the time.

@Theirrillusion: That makes me think that without the fancy armors and stuff, an OP guy in LD is going to be a noob in BN. Well, since LD is unbalanced, I lose all the time.

I found an interesting GUILD VERSUS GUILD BLAST NETWORK video featuring the guilds Jedi Master and THE JEMPIRE!

There is nothing much to say about Blast Network.

It's a cute attempt at a PVP minigame that is an expy of a semi popular game. It suffers from immense latency issues that otherwise make a Ghetto Bomberman ripoff unplayable, even to players who have a decent ping.

And with the fact that your Costume doesn't show anymore, that's one more reason to stray away from BN. I can't wear the Bombheads I've earned dang it!

I think most PvP players go there to show skill, practice, and have fun rather than looking just pretty.

It doesn't take much skill to find the person who has the most lag.

Cheese, it's what's hot!

Personally, I love love love BN.

I've been playing it for quite sometime now, got into it after being carried through GvG by a guildmate. I aim to be better than him at some point but alas for now I just have to keep aiming to be better.
What Bluencool said is true, it really is a game you need to play often to improve at, which doesn't bode well for most people. That being said when you do improve and get into a game with good people it can be both fun and rather thrilling.
There's also teams too, I haven't done much teams lately but it can be very interesting, working together with your partner/s to take down the opposing team, there's just something so sweet about helping others kill others... You get what I mean.

I am a little disappointed by costumes not being allowed anymore but it's not like it's the end of the world. Those bombheads I earned I shall proudly wear in Haven and the Clockworks, hasn't been easy getting those.

More people really do need to play it, heck I have to switch between servers when it becomes evening because all the EU players seem to lose interest with PVP. Ah well, not like I can help it, can be quite tricky on the US server though my delay is somewhat big. /e takes a note out of Sonic's book reading Live and Learn.

Love it, love it, love it.

Also those with lag can become quite a pain in the behind since they become quite unpredictable. Especially if they continue to place bombs. Stay away from the laggers, or kill them from afar.
