I've always wanted to have an LD match where NO ONE is using trinkets... and NO AT. I haven't bought, crafted or used a single trinket... not even when they came out...

They just don't hold appeal to me (what with the trinket slot upgrade costs and ugh... too lazy to grind endlessly for crowns).

So everyone? How about it? Cut the trinkets out of your loadout and let's see how well you really do.

Trinkets mean nothing.

I've played without trinkets for about 2 months straight with a 13k striker average, which is about 2k less than usual.
(don't hurr hurr caps me anyone, caps/defs depend on the individual game).
It's great training to learn how not to get hit, since you die in a single combo.

Slots last 30 days. Two slots cost 300 E, which is 10 E per day - at current prices, that's not even 1,000 crowns, which you can nearly double just doing one of the prestige missions.

The cost of the trinket itself is a different story, but it's the same as all your other gear, minus the fact that trinkets don't even need to be heated.

Saying trinkets don't mean anything is bullfeces. Two trinkets will give you 480 HP. That's 80% more HP in the end.

Just saying I could do with a LD free of trinkets.
They mean something when fighting an equally skilled person, but for 80% of the people I fight in LD I don't need them.

The OP is asking how good we would really do without them, it's my personal answer.

I wish they hadn't added HP-trinkets and all the modules. Things were better in the good ol' days when you had to choose between asi and damage with the exception of the very few people who had single vh uvs.
