I'm trying to sell some of my mats which i got a around 100/200 of but they just simply wont sell becasue everyone got around 200 of them.

My suggestion would be either:

Increase the requirement of materials for crafting

Decrease the drops of the mats

What do you think guys? Mats should be able to sell as well, and now with the auction house I figured it's impossible almost with so many people sharing them, and having hundreds and thousands of them

The last patch caused

The last patch caused crafting to be so cost prohibitive that material supplies are outpacing demand by a significant margin, causing a massive drop in prices.

I dont mind the increase in

I dont mind the increase in cost. That way the game will only expand more as more people will be encouraged to pay a bit.

They should increase the requirement for mats as wel imo... (or decrese the drops)

Yeah

Or just give us something else to sink mats into. A lot of people suggested putting in an option to sink more mats into an item when crafting to increase UV chance, or type of UV chance. Maybe make unbinding require a stiff mat cost, too. In some way there just needs to be a larger sink or stop them from dropping as frequently. I know I'm always happy to come across a person buying lots of mats for crafting. I'm not using them, after all.

You also have to remember

You also have to remember that, when the AH hit, the mat market bottomed out because everyone started selling mats. Most of the people I know were not even trying to sell their mats before - Trade Chat was such a mess, who wanted to bother with it? As soon as the AH hit, everyone was wasn't selling before was suddenly trying to sell, and the market got flooded as they undercut each other left and right. Give it 2 weeks and I imagine prices will rise somewhat.

You're never going to sell

You're never going to sell the most common items which you've described for much, if anything.

Like you said, people have -hundreds- of these materials and that means they're 100% worthless, realistically. Higher-grade materials sell for more than lower-grade ones, so nothing is wrong here.

The way to profit buy selling materials, even before this update, was by selling the higher, more in-demand materials. Sure, you -might- rake in a few coin by selling the low stuff, but obviously it won't sell as fast and won't net you as much profit.

You can't expect for low level, common drops to sell for much, it's totally unrealistic.
