Sleep, as it has now come back into the game, still works as it did.
Much like freeze, you are held in place however other knights cant wake you and you can't defend yourself, at the cost of small health regeneration.
I can see this being a problem in tier 3 where damage dealt to you whilst immobile could be huge, however I have an idea for a work around.
Example: Make a player with the sleep status wake-able by throwing water at them. They could implement a new useable item that is, say, a vial of water to wake teammates up.
Perhaps a useable that makes a puddle of water on the floor (much like the chromalisk does) where you cannot be put to sleep.
Make useables that set you alight or shock you. If you used one of these and then were set to sleep, the spasm of shock or damage from fire would wake you up, or using these items would prevent you from being put to sleep by inflicting pain on yourself.
If I am completely missing the imbalance of sleep then say so I can graveyard this haha.
"Make a player with the sleep status wake-able by throwing water at them. They could implement a new useable item that is, say, a vial of water to wake teammates up."
Like Regular vails, the only reason someone would use them is to get rid of them
"Perhaps a useable that makes a puddle of water on the floor (much like the chromalisk does) where you cannot be put to sleep."
nobody would bother standing in a small puddle to not go to sleep, this is also discouraging one of the good aspects of this game, dodging
"Make useables that set you alight or shock you. If you used one of these and then were set to sleep, the spasm of shock or damage from fire would wake you up, or using these items would prevent you from being put to sleep by inflicting pain on yourself."
1. nobody would use them willingly, 2. people will rage that the only way to get them out of their usables is by hurting themselfs.
that is my opinion, -1
