well i had a server problem but its fixed now but i still have this problem every time i kill one of the purple souls my game crashes, then i log in right back into the level when i start it up (as from the note at the beginning of the mission). after i start up, weird graphic glitches are everywhere. letters missing from text, chat bubble gets static-y, weapons wheel is completely messed up, including a lot more. at first i thought it was part of the mission but it still continued after the mission was over.

im running the game through steam and usually don't have any problems.

Make that three.

For me, it mostly happens with purple AND white souls spawning, but it also appears to happen randomly, perhaps when a Harvester spawns.

Heh. I posted a sizable forum about all that in the troubleshooting forum. Has fun screenshots of most of what you are talking about. From what I've learned it is happening to a variety of people with a variety of computers.
