Hey, just wondering why everything I can do in spiral knights (missions - new and old , arcade) Is locked to advanced. I can't cope on some of them. I can't really attmept my next missions, My 4* gear isn't strong enough. Or is 4* + Locked on advanced?
EDIT: Should've been more specific, with my (very) limit time, I can't cope with any challenge as I have to get back to my work quickly.
I mean everything now, absolutly everything is locked to advanced, I'm finding The gate runs a little hard at the moment, and I cant play on medium or easy, is there a way to fix this?
1, advanced is medium difficulty, like before the difficulty update. However advanced is slightly easier than before.
2, there's buttons next to the advanced slot that changes to elite or normal. Try them, and if it's not changing, your game is bugged.
3, if you're having trouble with advanced difficulty, then I'm not sure how you got so far before july (no offense).

I guess It's just bugged then, I just want to play easy so I can Do levels quickly (And not have as much of a challenge) With my limited time I have, with assignments and other horrible schoolwork.

Then it's definitely a registry issue. You should be able to fix it if you can figure out how to edit the registry on a mac.
Before 30 july update we had only one difficulty, medium(advanced). There are 3 difficulties now: easy(normal), medium(advanced), hard(elite). If you completed mission before update, you did it on medium(advanced) difficulty.
