I decided to take a break from playing as my main character and switch over to another to make a bit more progress. I decided to create a party and surprisingly, someone actually joined. At the last level in an arena the other knight used a Recon Flare and ended up summoning a Recon Ranger that looked exactly like my main character with his Recon Knight gear.

This got me thinking: what do our knights do when we, the players, log off or switch to another knight?

As I just experienced, I'm pretty sure my knight goes out on Recon patrols and waits for someone to use a flare. Then like any other Recon Ranger would do, he jumps in and starts shooting things down with his Auto-Gun. (I do infact use that along with my Recon Ranger loadout so it makes perfect sense!)

What do you think your own knight does?

Uh ...

He works in a garage. I've been saying for a long time the Spiral Order should have armored vehicles, being Chibi Space Marines and all. I'm sure with enough time he'll be able to construct a main battle tank. At which point Nick will probably confiscate it.

jumping off the arcade floor, reaching the core, splatting and repeat.
see if there's anything valuable in the storage to rob.
juggling with suda, polaris and DBB, and I don't tell you what happens if it goes wrong.
doing dark rituals to see if he can see the future.
trying to wolver-teleporting (with almost no results)
spinning around holding Suda, eventually killing someone in the process
yeah, something like that.

"If my knight is anything like me..." ( < totally original phrase, I'm so proud)

He might go curl up on a bed in our guild hall (doesn't need to be his bed... any available bed will do, actually those cushioned benches work too.) and draw until he falls asleep, in which case if he's using paper (or miracloth... miracloth is best used for canvas), the paper probably burns up because of his coat... which is why I never get to see any of his drawings... maybe i'll salvage one someday to post on tumblr...

He finds a cozy place to sleep, actually probably might laze around in our guild hall for a bit before falling asleep somewhere. (He talks to Vatel sometimes when nobody is around.)

Would sit in the guild hall wondering how her Wild Hunting Blade creates phantasmal wolves everytime she swings it.
Would go to the Hall of Heroes and have a "heated discussion" with Echo on whether the Dread Venom Striker or Wild Hunting Blade looks smexier, while having a latte from Spiralbucks.

My knight.

Orders 50 large pizzas and a side of hot wings, calls all of his friends and guildmates and throws a party in the guildhall. Underwear is found pinned against walls by magnus bullets, and whole suits of armor are reportedly dunked inside barrels of gel drops. They all snort meteor mote, and loud arena music blares throughout the guildhall. Then, when the party is over my knight does other things in his ready room. I think its time I started disciplining him with my calibur.

You all seem rather devious while offline

Fangel spends her time alone, off outside of haven. Away from all the noise and trade channels, and lays amongst a field of flowers where many never venture to. Often she will fly low over the flowers so that the wind she generates creates a peaceful storm of petals. There are no guild requests, no begging knights, not even an inventory. Just tranquillity. Rarely, something living passes by, and she will hide amongst the flowers... For there are few that are welcome in her paradise, her kingdom, her getaway. Many call haven their home, but this field is what Fangel calls her own.
