Hi OOO, Chainguy here. Recently, i reported a person named (removed) for under age. However, he came on another account/knight and says it was a joke. Is this true or not? I am not too sure.

If it's true, is it possible for you to remove the ban of (removed)? I would of not reported him in the first place if he said it was a joke.

If not, just ignore this.

Relating to forums: Sorry i had to place this here. Reason is i sent a support by email but have not got a reply yet. The guy i reported for under age for really wants to get back in the game.

EDIT: Turns out i think it was a HUGE mistake i did. I believe the "older bro" wanted to let his "little bro" play SK for a bit. Could you remove the ban OOO if that's alright with you? Thanks.

Easier to not ask their age and not report anyone unless they cause you harm.

I looked back up at the chat, way before the ban, he said:

"hey guys this is (removed) older bro if you wonder why his speech sounds very limited, its because he is 7 lol"

Unless, i done some confusion, i feel like a complete (censored) for doing this. :(

I just chatted with him and he says that they both have made chars on a single account, but his "little bro" plays for very short times, like only a few minutes and doesn't talk to strangers or anything else. While the "big bro" is the one mostly to play for hours.

Another thing he said because this game doesn't have a rating, and that it was rated 13 age due to online interactions.

I just say it was my fault for reporting it, "big bro" wanted to let his "little bro" play on his account for a little bit. And this would of not happened, OK?! This is starting to piss me off. OOO, just undo the ban and get this over with because i am losing it.

usually, ban appeal is through support, and the thread gets closed. at least in other games I've seen.
anyway, if you have proff, contact support, it's the best way of getting an answer from OOO.

Okay, terms of service clarification.

I'll just start by saying im not OOO nor do I represent OOO. Also, I don't fully understand legal jargon, so bear with me. >.>

Even if his story IS true, which it may or may not be, he/she is still breaking the rules.

9. Your Account is Your Responsibility. You are solely responsible and entirely liable for all activities conducted through your account and/or your User ID, even if your account has been compromised through no fault of your own. Three Rings encourages you to maintain the confidentiality of your password, and reminds you that you do not have a license to let others use your account.

The way I see it, the "older bro" is responsible for the actions (maybe age?) of his "little bro".

Also, in the code of conduct...

Keep your account safe! - No one except you should ever know your password or have access to your account. It is forbidden to share passwords or accounts, grant someone else access to your account or access another knight's account. You are responsible for the security of your account data and are likewise responsible for everything that happens on your account, including rule violations of any sort.

I'll just copy and paste the key bit here. grant someone else access to your account or access another knight's account. The "older bro" let his "little bro" access his account, thus, breaking the code of conduct.

tl;dr If the story is true, then he broke the rules. If the main account user is indeed 7, then he broke the rules. If it is a joke, wheres the proof that it is?

While I don't exactly like some parts of the rules/terms of service, I know that the age requirement is there to keep OOO from getting sued to death. Pretty much, OOO probably wont undo the ban, though the actual rule broken may be different from the ban. Also, you can't use another account to access the game etc. after your rights have been "terminated". See this:

18. Termination. Either you or Three Rings may terminate your account and this agreement upon notice at any time without further obligation to the other. Further, Three Rings reserves the right to terminate the Site, Services and/or Games, or any part thereof, at any time without notice and without further obligation to you. IN NO EVENT SHALL YOU BE ENTITLED TO A REFUND OF ANY FEES OR PRORATION THEREOF. UPON TERMINATION OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOUR ACCESS PRIVILEGES TO THE SITE, SERVICES AND GAMES WILL TERMINATE AND YOU WILL FORFEIT ANY UNUSED SERVICES THAT YOU PURCHASED OR RECEIVED PRIOR TO TERMINATION. A member whose account Three Rings has terminated may not access the Site, Services or Games in any manner or for any reason without Three Rings' express, prior, written permission. Termination of this agreement shall have no effect on any payment obligation accrued prior to the effective date of termination. The following sections shall survive termination: 7(1) and (2), 8 and 14-21.

Basically, OOO probably won't undo the ban, and that's pretty much that. If I made any mistakes in interpreting the terms of service, let me know.

Wow.

You reported an underage person even though he/she did no harm to you?
You report a scammer. You report a sharker. You report someone who is being offensinve. You report a hacker. You report someone who is threating you with violence.
If you find someone underage who is starting to enjoy the game, you don't report him for being underage.
I know it's against the rules, but dude... did he do you any direct or any indirect harm, did he ruined or messed up your game experience? Did you made the game better by reporting him?

I always think all these factors before I report someone.

Plus, if you knew it, you should have just kept it a secret and letted him enjoy the game.
I know the SK ToS, but since he isn't harming anyone why report him for it? What people don't know won't harm anyone, since we can all assume he is above the legal age and keep playing as normal no harm done to either the player, or OOO.

If you knew an 8 year-old was in possession of questionable magazines or substances, would you report that to their parents or to the CPS? The 8 year-old isn't causing you any indirect harm. Is the rest of the world benefiting from you reporting the incident?

Bit of an extreme case, but it covers the same subject and content.
