Old Players coming back

I was wondering, is there any chance we can get to customise our Spiral jackets and Spiral helmets like the newbies?
I tried making a new character to unbind for energy as I'd really really like a custom made one, but the items cannot be unbound.
It's a bit unfair that the old players are punished to have their old standard boring items while the newbies don't just get to customize colours, they have several selections of items, accessories on the items and even get to change their eyes.
I could be wrong and there might be a place where we get to change our jackets to custom ones after all, please do tell me that I am wrong.

Three Rings is not completely disregarding this. Nick did mention at some point he wanted to make the other proto gear sets available for purchase/use.
Can't remember where/when he said it for the life of me. Knowing OOO's priorities, we may not be seeing them any time soon.

I really just hope they get this in before the end of this year, even if the veterans can just do it once I'll be happy.
Like try out the tutorial again or something to get 'em.

I used to be a bit jealous of the new knights and their fancy new proto sets
But now I just see the plain look of my old proto armor as a sign of being a true veteran.

We should get some special reward for not having as much customization options as they have now. The eyes cost too much. They should give us 50k CR each. I would be happy with that.

I'm almost completely certain they will eventually patch this to make it to where old characters will be able to do the same thing as well as get a compensation for not being able to at the same time that new characters are able to. I can only hope they'll actually give a compensation for it though.

There IS Hallow, though it's only orange, and as awesome as it looks, it would be MORE awesome having another one in a different color.

I honestly love when those promos come around, especially when you don't just get the items from spending CE for boxes (or spending $$ for CE+Boxes). Frosty and Hallow are the only two that I can remember off the top of my head that were like this. At the of peak of said events, you could make a full costume with dozens of accessories for less than most single accessories. If you do have a decent but not amazing budget, you can score some rare accessories that you normally would never even dream of acquiring, like Scarves, Parrying/Side Blades and Wings.

In reality, I have a plan to sell it all 6 months after the event and make millions. Then I wake up and cry.

I agree that some of the options for new knights (particularly flak jacket) are great. When they were introduced, there were many threads like yours, asking whether veteran knights could get them. Three Rings has apparently paid no attention to such requests. So don't get your hopes up.
