There should be swiftstrike buckler upgrades. The 5 star version being attack speed increased very high instead of high.

That would be overpowered.
I might recommend that the Swiftstrike Buckler be made a 5* shield as-is. No defense buffs, no ASI buffs, no additional health, nothing. Just a straight-up reclassification. And if there's to be an upgrade path to it, then the 3* and 4* variants are even weaker, like Proto-weak.
3* Swiftstrike Buckler: 2 bars normal defense, 120px health, ASI Low
4* Quickstrike Buckler: 2.5 bars normal defense, 180px health, ASI Med
5* Swashbuckler: 3 bars normal defense, 240px health, ASI High
Having it at 5* has unique properties. Since ASI High is such a powerful bonus, it makes sense that it is reserved for a very high-star shield. Also, damage-type defense UVs seem to be slightly greater on 5* shields, so adding them to your shield would improve it a little more than you otherwise could.

The issue with that, Thinslayer, is that it would be a considerable buff to the shield's Shield Bump distance.

The only way to balance out an 'upgrade' to the Swiftstrike Buckler would be to make the shield get slightly more health, but LOSE ASI bonus as it upgrades, becoming a measly Low at 5*.
I mean, come on, if you're making a shield block more, it has to be bigger, right? The bigger it is, the more cumbersome it is to wield, ergo the loss of ASI.

You're joking right? Either that or drunk or half asleep. The Swiftstrike buckler is referred to as such for a reason - removing the ASI boost would render the name obsolete.
Besides, the Scarlet Shield already provides additional health. The "upgrades" you're suggesting would be better for that.
