Oooosu,

Welcome to my newest attempt to make the life of the spirals more enjoyable during their time on cradle.

Introducing: Bosses DeSciphered.

A challenge which involves brutally murdering bossed then go to their house to clog up their toilets and raid their fridges afterwards.

Take at least 2 alchemers, then proceed in beating the 4 main bosses in less than 15 minutes. Make a vid and upload it to twitch preferably, but youtube is also acceptable . The fastest team will get a rocket propelled snipe issued by Boswick himself.

If you're really looking for a challenge, don't take umbra on JK and Snarb, and no elemental on RT.

This challenge will end the day OOO decides to AA charge us with the gunner update.

Just saying that <15 Minutes isn't possible with Alchemers alone. Maybe 3 Bosses? Yes. Vanaduke has resistance to Elemental and Immunity to Shadow:

That's 38 Damage per shot and 70 Damage per charge without buffs. Just from a Nova Driver.

Blitz Needle does 4080 Damage for the charge against effective, and 675 Damage for non-effective.

Now how many charges does it take on Average to cause Vanaduke to switch phases? About 4 Charges. This means that each non-mask phase is about 13600HP.

Mask-Phase is about 5 charges which is about 3375HP.

(I'm guessing since it's been awhile since I've ran Vanaduke without Damage Bonuses on my Blitz)

This rounds to 47550HP.

Alchemer Switching does 38 damage per second. So let's do some math here:

38x900 = 34200HP.

That means that even if you had every bullet ricochet off of Vanaduke, you wouldn't be able to beat him within your desired time.

Your contest is a lie, get out.

He said take at least two alchemers, he didn't say to we had to use them.
So it's possible.

Flowchart, I was thinking the same thing, but then he said this:

"If you're really looking for a challenge, don't take umbra on JK and Snarb, and no elemental on RT."

I'm under the assumption that he means "Alchemer Only." If he means otherwise, then yeah, it's possible and I apologize.

Mhm.

*It's possible, I've done it. And I'm pretty sure alchemer switching does more than 38 dmg/s. Using a swiftstrike for example in combination with a seerus mask will give you 4 bullets per second easily. Plus it's a challenge, so choosing your buffs is part of the challenge.

*Snarb is harder than vana because of the resistance to elemental and stratum damage, it takes AGES to get to snarb because wolves dodge bullets.
So don't focus on the vana fight alone. Also in RT the ricochets hit the switches a LOT so you're bound to mess up a lot. There is plently of challenge within this challenge besides vana.

It's fair to say I've given enough hints now.

Going off a page on the Wiki from Lancer Knightz:

Alchemer Line does 51-101 Damage/s with +6 ASI, the 51 being the base shot. So let's assume that none of them ricochet off Vanaduke:

Base Damage + Max ASI: 51 Damage/s
Max Damage + Max ASI: 72 Damage/s (I may be wrong on this)

Now this also depends on Difficulty, let's say you're doing Advanced and Vanaduke's Health is indeed 47550HP:

Base: 45900HP in 15 Minutes. (Dies in 16 Minutes.)
Max: 64800HP in 15 Minutes. (Dies in 11 Minutes.)

This means that with maxed out stats, Vanaduke can be beaten within the 15 minute deadline and this is being generous, this isn't including watering, time between phases, among other factors such as luck and bad luck. I still don't think it's possible to beat all four within 15 minutes, at least not on anything higher than Normal Difficulty.

EDIT: Should be noted that the DPS is from full-clips, I don't know the exact DPS for alchemer switching.

Buncombe.

So instead of ranting about not being able to do it, why not give the challenge a shot before complaining about it being too hard, you're not even using relevant info.

That's why it's a challenge ffs.

Let's all be clear here... If I read the rule correctly that means: I can just beat the boss with 2 weapons of my choice and we can be a squad of 4, wearing chaos...

Pitiful challenge, not even worth the time... all bosses can be rushed in under 1 minutes if done perfectly...

Call it the driver challenge if you want us to use the gun...

@Scirio: The challenge has to

@Scirio: The challenge has to be reasonable. Let me exaggerate to make the point:

I challenge you to take a proto bomb to Vana and defeat him in under 10 minutes using only that proto bomb with no UVs, no trinkets, and no CTR and Damage bonus gear.

Now obviously that is ridiculous. But you could calculate why it's ridiculous to further prove that is impossible. Glacies is calculating how possible your challenge is in regards to Vana, not ranting or complaining.
