Because no armor line has real feet, they are all little hove like stubs.
Did we evolve to stop having feet?
In recent threads (and probably many others I'm unaware of) we have come to a conclusion that the Spiral Order is a legion formed from "Tech Knights". Skipping everything unrelated to your question: knights are capable of removing, adding, or adjusting parts of their bodies in order to fit into any given equipment.
This helps explain why we can be running around with perfectly normal feet in Dragon Scale Mail, then all of sudden get dual peg-legs when we equip a Volcanic Plate Mail.
I'm pretty sure they are hoomans. I don't see why robots would have a war.
This high-performance appendage is a symbol of the Spiral Order, and is proudly worn by veteran members (and shamefully by scrubs). As it is often said, a knight need not have feet: just nubs.
Biotechnical robots. They're organics AND mechanics! Like a race of cyborgs.
But headcanon aside, addressing the actual question.. Feet can be pretty clunky at times. They are great when used right, but they are also these big heavy things that are on these awkward pivoting joints... great for stability, but if we imagine a race whose lives revolved largely around combat or high speed movement, agility and dexterity become more important, no? Having stubs instead of feet makes balance a bit more crucial, but once that's taken care of you get appendages that can go faster due to less weight and more aerodynamic design. Mechanical, biological, or otherwise, every single Isorian we know of is part of this military establishment. They even call each other "Knights" instead of Isorians. These people must be culturally dedicated to the art of combat, or at least have been for many generations. And in such a culture, fancy footwork would be important.
That's my pseudoscientifical explanation anyway. Obviously we're dealing with art logic in the end, but this is the best I can work out for more immersive exposition.
@Bamzalot

It was a point brought up, but it was definitely not a conclusion.
@OP
Have you not heard of Nendoroids?
No "logic" required, it's simply a portrayal. One doesn't question why the status effects are the bright colors they are, or why each of the moniters on the elevators are colored exactly to match the family of the next floor. Unlike video game logic, which is explainable, art logic is expression in graphic form so things don't always match up to real life.
Also looking at an armor accessory of any kind shows we also have toes.
But still, /sigh
they are humanoids so they are like humans just not humans so it is possible they subs as feet or just really small feet
here's a link of what they are
Ian mcConville thought the stubby feet of nendoroids were cute, and he used the stub feet as a concept for the knights. Also, nobody knows if knights 'evolved' or how they even came into existence. The creatures from Isora and Cradle could have been from a yet unknown process of coming to existence.
Don't forget the Almirians, somehow they are biomechanically similar to the knights despite possible planetary isolation. That statement in mind, how are Almirians and the knights so similar? Was there once a time when a giant planet existed and then splitted and drifted apart forming new planets?
Please give me a picture of the biomechanichal almirians, because the last time I checked, they were burning zombies and a big about to become trojan burning king.
One guy is a knight wearing the "cured armor" one is the ghost of an actual Almirian,the others are undead with a physical body except the vog cursed vanaduke. Also the undead have to be alive at somepoint to even be called "undead" :P
