Been having a craving for a new sprite, aka Mecha-Sprite. About half the height of a player and is a close quarters sprite (melee). Passive ability of attacking any nearby enemy.

So I 3D modeled him up. I didn't do any sword/shield for time's sake but probably will eventually.

Would you dig a close-combat sprite using swords? (Upgradeable to different weapons)

Edit: I work in the toy industry so I'm used to modeling boxy toy figures to match our company's style and so that it is moldable for 3D print.

The appearance is interesting, but you could have added details such as the sprite skills, what it eats, etc.

Sword
Bomb
Gun

...as the three abilities. Passive attack. Short radius for all attacks. Upgrading increases attack speed, range, damage.

I think it's pretty obvious he'll eat something derived from one of the two unused minerals on top of the usual materials.

I sure hope English is not your first language.

But seriously...

I didn't go into detail because I want to know if people would dig the idea of a battlesprite having a passive attack as its skills. You would have to unlock each skill, sword, gun or bomb (in the order you choose).

No passive

one of the main points of sprite skills is that there is a cooldown, and therefore can't be used consecutively. adding a passive skill would rending this fact moot and make harnesses as well as the focus upgrade on skills useless. the idea of a close combat sprite is ok, just don't give it a passive skill. that's what sprite perks are for.

Yeah I was going for something different.

But in that case.

Activate the skill to attack either sword, gun or bomb?

Upgrading would increase the usual stuff (cooldown, attack increase/duration, etc)

Or, if people would rather him be Sword only...which I would rather.

Skillz:

Basic Attack (increases dmg, ASI, duration)

Shield Bash (increases distance traveled, increase stun duration - max of 2 seconds, decrease cooldown)

Charge Attack (increase dmg, increase number of blasts, decrease cooldown)

Ultimate...yeah can't think of anything yet (other than perhaps choosing a status affect for charge attack?)
