It would be nice if we have the chance to buy the lionheart and other swords and shield as recipes for a day only, maybe there can be a special vendor in haven that sells them just like all the other recipes, and once u craft them, they are bound to you and cannot unbind it

Because it's one of the only ways to show that you were an early veteran and supporter of the game. I don't have any of those because I wasn't a Vanguard, but I'm fine with that.

I think the name "homecoming"
I think the name "homecoming" implies that this is something that's repeated or is intentionally meant to be repeated. Also, that sword and shield is so cool!
Of whether or not it was meant for veterans, the glaring lack of a Lionheart version of the Nitronome and Valiance is rather unfair to non-swordies. They all belong in the same group after all.
