I know this sounds kinda ambitious and kinda unnecessary but if you could do this it would be amazing. This would allow us to train against monsters such as devilites and greavers and learn strategies on how to beat them without doing gates and dieing. I kept my post short because i doubt this will get implemented, but just something to think about if you have spare time to add stuff to the game.

Doing gates doesn't cost a thing. There's no excuse.

@above You die, thats

@above

You die, thats annoying cause you gotta go back to haven, and its not like every enemy is on depth 1,8 and 18 right? You gotta venture levels to encounter every enemy in the game

You don't have to go back to haven at all. Press M to restart from the last checkpoint (beginning of a mission, or the start of a tier)

What's the point of a game about exploration when you can find every single enemy at the surface?

Checkpoint?

Hmm, didn't know that M could be used to restart from a checkpoint

Thanks for the tip Hexzyle!

There's also a Guild Training Hall if you just want to fight a monster family.

+1 Hex

I have no idea why but I remembered someone explaining this so I went and found it.

"Enabling sample monster attack patterns, I think, is pushing it a bit too far. the Advanced Training hall is a perfect example of why - it doesn't have any of the creatures that exist in the Clockworks available for practice.
Now you may cry out 'Why not? Practice makes perfect!'
I totally agree, however, not in that respect. The point of not making the creatures available for practice is so that whoever faces the creatures, if they haven't before, find something they haven't encountered before, and so have to find the best way to deal with them. If all creatures were made available, the game would be rather boring."

It's essentially just restarting the run, but you don't have to go to Haven to open the mission window lol
Cuts the loading screens you have to sit through from 3 down to 2.

@Klipik
Ah yes, thanks for linking that. I was going to state something like that because I remember reading it before, but I couldn't think of how to word it.
