The shots, instead of originating from the front of the gun, come from your body forcing it to have 1-2 less range. The shots go the same distance but with silversix they start where they are suppose to, unlike the blackhawk.

Zeddy's answer was about as serious as it gets. No one know why. Blackhawk is an overall rather buggy gun but it has never been fixed.

Here's hoping they have a fix planned for Blackhawk in the upcoming gun update. I mean, probably unlikely if it's been like this for years but, meh.
