Specifically, any piercing guns that they're going to come out with?

I'd love to see another branch of the Antigua guns, one that inflicts raw piercing damage at the 4* and 5* level, like AP and Sentenza.

Gilded Griffin was one of the names Nick revealed during his announcement. Everyone and their mom's dog figured it'd be a piercing Antigua approximately two minutes after that announcement.

@OP
Nick announced that they were trying to fill in damage type gaps in the gunner's arsenal, so it's a safe bet that we'll be seeing more shadow and piercing guns.

The test server hasn't opened yet, so either it's going to be open for a whooping one week or it's not coming out in November after all. Which is fair. The announcement stated November was the targeted release, it was not a guarantee.

Don't get too hyped though. The Obsidian weapons were considered "brand new" too, and look how "new" they really are.

For all we know, they could be reskinned+restatted versions of existing guns, without anything mechanically new. Heck, they might even be counting them individually as opposed to individual crafting lines, like saying there's 3 totally different Spurs (when in reality, there's just Spur, Arc Razor, Winmillion, all in one line).

HAH! Just imagine if they were to release all damage variations of several weapon lines just to be able to say "HEY COMUNITY WE RELEES TWENTIFORE NYOO GUN JUS 4 U"! Nah, OOO wouldn't do that. They know better than to build hype on half-lies.

I just hope they don't use more blanket buffs/nerfs like they did before.

And actually listen to the community's feedback in the testing stage.

But they almost never do..

All I know is, if the Gilded

All I know is, if the Gilded Griffin ends up being a 5* Piercing version of Argent Peacemaker, GOODBYE BLITZ NEEDLE.

Not even close. Blitz Needle one of the most powerful weapons in the game, if not the most.

Blitz is way more powerful than a hypothetical Piercing Antigua. Mobility would be nice and all but Blitz would still win in power.

@Draycos
The most.

Damage is not the

Damage is not the be-all-end-all consideration for me. Mobility, speed, and accuracy are just as important to me. And a 5* Antigua would still be capable of respectable damage with DI Maximum, which is what I'm going to have eventually.

Besides, the gun is likely to have DI Med against some type of creature, probably beasts or fiends.

Well, he mentioned:

Well, he mentioned: "Phantamos, Gilded Griffin, Winter Grave and Grim Repeater!"

Phantamos sounds pretty shadow-y. Gilded Griffin... yeah, that's pretty obvious. Winter Grave? Sounds like freeze. Grim Repeater? This could kill the Sentenza even more than the Obsidian Carbine did, even.

Yeah I already know what all the "new" guns are.

But I still have the "new" armor to look forward too, right? And Nick said there'd be separate armor from the Gunslinger lines. New alchemy lines this means, unless they find a workaround.

If I catch a party member using the Griffin gun during a Vana fight and breaking freeze, they are getting the boot =n=

On topic, Winter grave seems like a combination between freeze and shadow (hence "winter" and "grave").
I am personally looking forward to the new gunning armor/helms. They would make me happy, and maybe get me to stop using the chaos set so much.

I'd do the same thing to

I'd do the same thing to anyone who breaks Vana freeze with Blitz.

I'm more interested in the supposed new Gunslinger armor and helmets we're getting. Hopefully well get something with Fire resistance besides Seerus. I'm REALLY hoping we get a 5* shield designed for Gunslingers so we can move away from Swiftstrike.

I hope the new armors are

I hope the new armors are more modern-looking. 1st person shooter like. Sniper like. Spartan like. Maybe even a combo-pun of Sparta (the Greek one) and Spartan (Halo). God forbid anymore
Also, I hope for more defender-type/corridor situations like on Blackstone Bridge (FSC) where gunners can shoot from afar. Close combat situations like EVERY arena. Or maybe a smart enemy that will god forbid consciously run away/dodge all melee (but obviously do less dmg like when comparing out swords/guns), not including those pesky fiends.

Also I predict that the DI of the Gilded Griffin will be against Beasts (wish it was fiends). FYI Gilded means coated in gold leaf or gold paint. It COULD be called the Gold Griffin then :P.
