Do you suppose someone has been making old version icons for the newer items since then? You know, the colorful ones in circles with an ambiguous representation of the actual item? After leisurely browsing the Wiki, I noticed someone took the liberty of doing that for the Recon Signal Flare one.

I'm running out of slippers.

I realize the change is minor, but it's still quite reminiscent to the older icons.

Exactly.

Should there be? The only remotely hard part would be designing a new image in an icon for some new items, but beyond that the recoloring is pretty simple.

if i recall correctly i guess Melonfish refeer to the project that Autofire was doing on redoing SK icons to the "old retro" SK icon style that the game used to have before the UI update and after the icon update, since Autofire reported a small boost in the perfomance of the game with the old icons. and i remember Autofire was asking for "beta testers" for the project. you should talk with him about that.
