Where is the official discussion for the gunner update being late that shalt not be replicated?

I don't want to get sensored up for making a new thread about it, so I think I'll make a new thread about where the old thread so that I can avoid making a new thread and instead post over the old thread with a new response that will appear to directly correlate with the old discussions but will in fact require new analysis. Of course, I only want to do this because I'm too lazy to use google and I only want to say "hah! Gianor was right and you know it!" about the newest failed deadline.

Cuz I found Hollow's thread- http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/93397 and I found the other one discussing the gunner update being on time, but I haven't found the official thread dedicated to persecuting the developers for missing a fairly arbitrary deadline.

Most have been discussing

Most have been discussing here.
Though, it isn't an official thread, just where most people have been sharing their thoughts and such.

But its been enforced and edited and whatnot that there is an official one, but I'm not sure if thats' it or not... like you said, it isn't an official thread or anything, is it?

And even if it was, shouldn't we have a new thread about the devs being late so we can discuss that too? I feel like one 5 page thread is too much to look through.

Hmm...

I don't believe it is. Why? Because it wasn't created by a GM, Dev, CM, whatever. Just because Nick commented doesn't truly make it 'official'. I believe that is a well established thread, but nevertheless it isn't an official one, if you get what I'm saying.
They usually make an official thread after the update is released.

(My head is extremely confused now; I hope I made sense)

Furthermore, if only one thread of each non-official topic were to be allowed, we'd see every thread discussing the brandishes graveyarded... so I guess it only applies to official posts? Or should I be doing my due diligence to report the faction of the forums I don't like when they recreate threads about brandishes?

Well for now...

I'd call the link I posted the "official" for now at least. We can't really discuss much since, well it hasn't been released yet, nor can we discuss what people have discovered on their own (SpiralSpy).

/sigh

Until the test server gets released, which would be next month sometime?

When you're this swag this world just bows at your knees

The majority of the community enforces megathreads, either subconsciously or consciously, as the official location for posting on a subject.
You don't need a developer to start a thread to make it official: as long as the OP doesn't post something stupid, or wrong in the OP, (For megathreads, it's best to keep it quick and concise, unless you're in the suggestions subforum) we can classify any thread with a large number of posts (as long as they aren't overly negative) as the "official" location for discussing said topic.

But is the thread for the gunner update also the thread for discussing the developers being late once more? They're practically different topics- one is about an update, the other is about OOO slacking off.
