In honor of the depleting radiants, over abundance of shinings, and the new crew of up and coming players who can't afford to spend CE to buy their radiants:

I'm creating a 4* loadout to see if it's that huge of a difference in LD, and to hopefully inspire the newer crew that being stuck at 4* doesn't doom you to fall to the asi Kat-hat Chaos Skolver loadouts that are pretty abundant. This is also something to do while waiting till the legenday gun update in January... Feb? Who knows!
So at the moment, I'm just heating the majority of my T2 gear (which is easy enough to make at a later time).
I'll post a few vids on my thread then with hopefully a few functional variants of 4* loadouts.

So I gota ask... anyone care to join me? Either way it'd be a good training set, or something to use when the people on either team aren't up to par with your skillset.

Lastly, what weapons/armor combinations do you think would still carry decent strength at 4*? (winmillion and vitasuit aside.. since they have nowhere else to go)

Gunslinger 4*, Volt Driver, and Grand Flourish. I use it with one of my alts and it's easy to do 10-25k when you play vs average players (or 21 noobies).

I would honestly use a cyclops cap or fencing jacket if you can't make it to 5*.
As things are now, offensive bonuses are worth far more than any defense can make up for.

I've got some 4* gear though, I'll happily join you if you need me.

The main defensive gains of 5* gear is resistance (7 and more resistance) and health bonuses. You'll probably take a hit or two less if you're running around in 0* gear.

Just make the armour 5*. 5* armour doesn't need heat to be effective.

Does status resistance even increase with heat? Or are they already +4 even at level 1?

If I ran 4s gear, I'd probably go Vitasuit Deluxe and Kat Claw Mask/Ash Tail for pure sword (Grand Flourish/Dark Thorn Blade, Avenger/Faust, 4s Brandishes with ASI Med or better) or Cyclops Cap/Sunset Stetson for gun play (Volt Driver, Virulent Catalyzer, Gigawatt Pulsar, Master Blaster).

Status resistance is always the same for armour as far as I know and I know pretty far.

Kat Klaw Mask
Vitasuit Delux
Fierce Flameberge
Firo Driver
Two Penta Heart trinkets
(Going to allow myself to wear pentas, as they don't cost any radiants to make)

Played a few games and managed 8-12k with plenty of caps, was mad fun. Now for a 3rd weapon...

I was fairly certain that status resist increased with every star level. For instance, the resist on an elemental hood/dusker coat is less than the resist on grey feather/skolver.

*edit: I don't read good. Discussing heat levels, not star.

It's easy to post, but will you make it and join the 4* army? My main thoughts was to make a loadout that didn't rely on radiants. I worked with what I had from tier 2 :) sky is the limit though!
