The effects of the radiant drought:

  1. Event weapons are more easily obtainable (minor)
  2. HoH missions are still possible
  3. Shadow Lairs have a greater incentive
  4. Blitz Needle nerfed (Strike Needle more viable)
  5. Acheron nerfed (same as above)
  6. Winmillion balanced slightly (more viable)
  7. Energy market and Supply Depot needed more
  8. And then some...

Edit: Please post your discussion in an existing thread on this topic rather than starting a new one. Thanks!

By that logic, everything that is 5* has been nerfed.

I prove that you are wrong

1. Yeah, right, get an event weapon, never use because its not heated
2. What?
3. Yeah, now you need to expend 450 to do one run, expend at least 40 minutes doing the SL and get 40 radiants if you are lucky
4. Thats not a good thing, Blitz is more viable on PvE than PvP, you dont see many Blitz there, and nerfing it wouldn't help anyone
5. Meh
6. Winmillion is good as it is, a 5* would be good? Yes, but we good with what we have.
7. Yeah right, 700 ce for 50 radiants, you pay more for heating than Craftin
8. I would like to hear the other points, but I'm pretty sure this is a troll thread

Apparently the reason why they made shinings drop on stratum 6 was because people complained how hard it was to get them on stratum 5, but thats bullsh*t, since you can get 20-30 on Toxilargo runs.

I have to disagree

1. No comment.
2. I don't understand what you mean here.
3. Sure, Shadow Lairs now have an incentive, but didn't they always? I mean, you get some pretty amazing armour by doing a Shadow Lair, or am I wrong and anyone who has Snarbolax or Mercurial Demo can tell me otherwise? Also, you have to find a party that is willing to go with you, as well as spend ~40k (with the current energy prices), AND you have the chance of dying and wasting things like Sparks. In the end, outright buying the Radiants is faster and safer.
4. No, not true. Just because you can not upgrade something does not mean it has been nerfed. Blitz Needle is still a monster, just a lot more rare than before.
5. Acheron has already rightfully been nerfed. However, Silent Nightblade just doesn't compare when you're looking at charge attacks, the thing Brandishes are most known for. That extra explosion and larger range on the explosions makes it better altogether, whether or not it does more damage.
6. Winmillion is a situational weapon for sure, but it's pretty strong for only being a 4* weapon. Are you implying people should all make Winmillion's now because they're suddenly top-tier from the Radiant drought?
7. They always have been, even after the Sprite update. I can't be the only one who still buys orbs from time to time simply because farming Crowns is faster than farming orbs, right?

Event weapons are more easily obtainable (minor)
What?

HoH missions are still possible
Energy market and Supply Depot needed more

Don't these two points kind of counter each other? When shinings were rare, the supply depot was needed more to quickly progress through HoH. Now that shinings have replaced radiants in many depths, the supply depot isn't needed as much for progressing to 5*, yet you still list the increased need for players to use the supply depot as a positive. Pick a side.

Shadow Lairs have a greater incentive
At 1800e for a key, they still aren't very profitable. Most people running shadow lairs now probably were before the change anyway.

Blitz Needle nerfed (Strike Needle more viable)
Acheron nerfed (same as above)
Winmillion balanced slightly (more viable)

None of these are true. Making BiS weapons harder to obtain does not make the BiS weapons that already exist less viable. Blitz Needles and Acherons are still ultimately better than their 4* counterparts.
