Is it just me, or is the New 5 star Trink the first to have Defense and Health Attributes? Or is it just that i have not memorized all the Trinkets? I wish they Release More of these Hybrids In Jan. :)

Seriously, the fact that it only offers low freeze makes it extremely niche. Unless you just happen to be 1 unit away from achieving an immunity effect, you'll probably never wear it.

Basically, what Zeddy said.
The status trinkets are poor because in order to have them make a difference, you need to be at max+high which requires a UV/sprite perk, or Max+low, which requires you to use two trinket slots AND have a UV/sprite perk. But this one requires you to have max+max, which is more common to have than Max+high. Giving up a weapon bonus med doesn't hurt nearly as much when you get immunity+4 health ticks.
Though really, it should give you med status resistance, and the normal status should give you either a max or +5 each IMO.

Some enemies and weapons require +10 (actually, 9.5) to be immune to their status. Just using this trinket isn't going to be enough with a full resistance set.
Two sounds nice, but yeah, expensive.

Not sure If I should sell mine for 10K. I mean, I already have 2 pentas. If it had a health boost +6 mixed with the freeze, then I'd take it. But yet again, i could use that freeze resist for situations. Help.

You can also use it with full Snarbolax to still be immune versus Shivermist. Stack that with playing as Guardian to also be immune versus moderate freeze.

My point exactly. Its a heart trinket that happens to have freeze and that freeze is only relevant if you happen to be wearing a high freeze set and you would normally be wearing a heart trinket anyway.
Anyone who uses offensive trinkets is effectively giving up heart trinkets and I doubt that will change much. If heart trinkets are used disproportionally over offense trinkets in PVP, then that seems like an issue in PVP design.

Indubitably! Thus if the +1 freeze doesn't achieve that for you, then a plain of heart trinket would be the better option. And if you weren't giving up your ASI/DMG/CTR trinket for a penta, then chances are you probably won't do for the Gift.
But still, free stuff is free stuff. Which is good enuf I suppose

It's a freeze trinket that's not completely worthless. Hooray!
And they did nothing to buff other freeze trinkets, but that's to be expected at this point.
OOO only knows how to buff things that do not need buffing, not things that do need buffing.
