How high would my damage bonus have to be for my Valiance to have good damage?

I currently am a half chaos clone, with a Divine mantle and chaos hood. On my old alt Stark Nova I was agunner and i could get a good 7k-9k in T2 with a voltech and super blaster. But from what I hear it needs a bit of a damage boost to do well in T3.
Also another question, does the bonus from my chaos use up one UV slot? If it does, can i use a variant ticket to boost the damage on it?

I have no mouth and I need to scream

Very-high to max for it to be putting a dent into anything for faster genocide.

Why not complete the full package and make yet another thread for your additional question?

Come on now, Sirius...

You don't need to create a 2nd thread to ask about Valiance, just put all your questions into one, it makes things less messy.

Anyway, if you're gunning, you'd want it to be damaging. If you have DMG Very High+, it becomes an actual threat rather than an annoyance. You want all the damage you can get since you're using a normal damage weapon and no class increases gun damage.

Your Chaos piece does not take up any UV slots. Unless anywhere on the item description has, "Increased X Resistance: Y", it's free to have up to 3 UVs. You can't use UVs to increase the damage of your armor, only status and defense resist.

Depends on how well you're able to fight as a gunner. Most of the times when using a Valiance, I run with two pieces of justifier for the speed. (Valiance, Biohazard/Storm Driver, Flourish). Once they start closing that gap the ASI is helpful when switching to a different weapon/gun.

Your Voltedge isn't safe.

Well the way I tend to fight with guns is; I shoot and shoot until they are inflicted with a status, they rush me, or they are weak. Essentially, an opportunist. But my controller is SO bad I might need to use AT to use a gun correctly now.

I have a strong opinion in that you need mouse control to gun. Controllers are excellent for swording because of the quick directional change you can get with it, but even with having to intentionally miss your opponent to hit them with latency bullets - accuracy is still key. AT won't be a good solution.. but if you can make it work go for it. If your controller is the issue, then get a new one! Aferglow controllers are pretty
