Do you prefer to Solo, have a friend along, have two friends along, or have a full party?
Give your reasons why you prefer this way over the others, if you wish.

Example:
I prefer to duo since I dislike having to fight alone and it is easy to coordinate together.

Full parties are my least favorable party since there's too much going on, and people get easily frustrated with one another. (From my experience, people who aren't familiar with each other's playing styles don't really go hand in hand...)

So overall, I like to duo-trio, with the minor(very, very, very rare) occasion of having a full party.

i dont mind the size of the party (frm solo to full) but i like full party since enemies take more hits and its fun to play everyone as team. is frustrating when you dont know the people or they are just random people that spam buttonts like if there not going to be another day, but when you know the people you get used to play its really a nice experiencie to play a full party game.

i dont like solo since its a bit boring for me, because sometimes with the people i play a lot we talk each other while we play the game. so really is a nice experience.

Three people is what I prefer. Duo is fun, but you get more interesting combinations of weaponry and tactics with three people. Four people is nice on occasion, but it gets spammy, people leave/AFK, you know.

I've seen the common abuse of "the best gun ever" (Polaris) in every many situations... /sigh
I raced against some friends as they Trio'd and I Duo'd and we won by a long shot in FSC.
I guess for fastness duos and for the interesting combinations would be for a Trio.. Hm...

Because I can drop in and out when ever I want. And having 0 elevators costs that luxury has increased more so. Besides my guild went from 100 to 17 in the past 3 months. We were all long time players since around release, I guess everyone just went their separate ways, got bored most likely.

Depends on the type of level

Depends on the type of level and what "classes" the people are using (guns, bombs, swords). Something like RJP goes well with 3-4 people, but the Twins get too complicated with a large party. I prefer just 2 people with that, so you have the benefit of being able to switch enemies' aggro to one person while the other completes puzzles, but without problems of keeping the party together in said puzzles.

A group of swordies can get messy, but if some people are using guns or bombs, it can go a lot faster--like the whole vortex bomb+charge attacks, using guns to remove turrets, or bombs to take aggro.

I LOVE duos, especially in the clockworks. I'm perfectly happy in a trio as well, and full parties don't much phase me. So long as we avoid Polaris use, I don't mind.

I like having a friend or two along with a random or two. A healthy combination of co-ordination and chaos.
Just the way I want it.

This is a survey, not a poll. A poll is when you give multiple answers / choices to choose from a question. (Eg: What's your favorite thing to do in Spiral Knights? a) Play b) Chat etc.)

Back on topic. I'd prefer to solo. Sometimes with 2 - 3 players. 4 players is painful for me. Every time I run with 3 other players, one of them screw something up in the level (Eg. In GitM someone breaks a block connected to a ghost block that could open the path to the prize boxes). Also, I find 4 players a bit risky.

It depends on my mood and who im playing with. If im frustrated or angry, and want to just relax, enjoy the visuals and take my time, i go solo. In my casual state, i prefer a duo or trio, and rarely even a full party. But, if i want to complete the run without losing some brain cells, i NEVER let anyone expect my friends and (some of my) guildies to join the party

Don't mind, hiss.

I have built my knight around supporting other knights, hiss.

So party size doesn't matter to me. Four is nice, so is three and two. I can handle myself solo, and that's just as fun.

I prefer duo since soloing is boring and meaning-less and if I party with more than 2 people....I will ragequit !
