So I just finished the last mission in the game and it was great EXCEPT I couldn't find Rhendon in the Hall of Heroes. Where is he? Why isn't he there? He should be there holding the artifact or something. Come on, guys. Where's our favorite Blitzer?
Where's Rhendon?
He's obviously been KIA, like many Recon Rangers are apt to be.
RIP Rhendon, you served us sorta well with your TOTALLY GOOD aim while you TOTALLY ASSISTED A LOT BY SHOOTING SWITCHES AND DEALING LOADS OF DAMAGE.
You favourite blitzer is Rhendon?! I am 1000X better than that guy in terms of blitz!
Rhendon is down at depth 30 with the Alpha Squad. Together they are fighting off the endless hordes of void monsters while at the same time killing off 100 million Dark Fire Vanadukes and the Legion of Ur. In the back Gordon Freeman is playing a bunch of mashed up Globus songs amplified by 666^777. When they are done with that they are going to break out of the core by using the artifact that Rhendon had secretly stored in one of those endless arsenal pockets. The one in the lab is a decoy. After all we never really saw him take it to the lab!
Once they are out they shall breach the 4th wall and march on into reality. They will overthrow the government of the world in 5 minutes and take over the Earth. They will ban all video games except for Spiral Knights and all the characters will be replaced with the Red Recon Rangers. The Blitz Needle will be the only weapon but it will have hyper extended range and speed to hit all targets from miles away. After everyone joins the Red Recon Rangers (because it will be the only guild left) Rhendon will work with the Kerbal Space Program to build the Crashy McSplodey III and ride a voyage to infinity and beyond!
A few seconds after the voyage Rhendon will have complete control of the multiverse.
Rhendon: Oh a new knight? I'll be a good guy and show him what not to do for future reference. I'll just go ahead and blitz some slime and construct.
I hope he's dead. He was the most useless piece of junk I've ever had along with me.
I actually liked that guy. Even if he never switched from his blitz.
At least he had the courage to fight along with players.
Unlike Bosco...
Never heard of him...Must be some kind of loonatic.
For old time's sake, I made a new character and did the Journey to Haven mission, intentionally sabotaging Rhendon in an attempt to kill him.
Strangely, monsters don't fight him. They just derp past him while he shreds them at point-blank range with his super-clip Blitz.
So, anyways, you know that part with those fire lines? I lured Rhendon into one, sat down, and waited.
The first 4 times, he fell down, and used a spark after a while. The fifth time, I interacted with him and rev'd him. The sixth time, he vanished in a puff of smoke.
I repeated the mission. This time, he just vanished after dying once. Same thing happened when I did it again.
I think that Rhendon is secretly Azgarth the 98th and is trying to bring salt and butter to the Popcorn People, AKA the GM's. It explains how he took so long to die from fire.
