I logged into Spiral knights today, and saw the gobble snipes wandering around as part of the fall thanksgiving event. Whoever did the models and animation for them, you're awesome. They are just too cute. And I'm assuming that they dissapear when the thanksgiving event is over. But I would be really sad, and I think there's plenty of other players who would be just fine with them. I have two suggestions to keep them around.

Suggestion A:
Fairly simple, a Gobble Snipe pet. It would follow you around, and be cute, and possibly give you a stat boost. I don't know if there's already pets in the game, but it could be a Gobble Snipe Costume which lures them to follow you (Basically a hat that makes one follow you.) instead of a pet.

Suggestion B:
Also simple. All it would be is a pair of goggles which would let you see Gobble Snipes around even when there weren't any. Wouldn't do anything else, except take up space in your inventory and stuff. It could also be an option.

I really want to see them outside of the Thanksgiving event... But since not everyone does it would have to be shut-off-able.

Thank you for adding them in the first place. This game needed some "Aww" that wasn't an enemy.

I just had this idea. Why not have a Gobble Snipe costume for your Battle Sprite? Fairly simple, might be an accessory that goes onto a Harness.

And yes, I know gobble snipes are turkeys.

The pet thing would be kinda OP with the stat boost. We already have Sprites. But a Costume? Hmm... Maybe a Sniped Stranger Hat but wi-

I saw the package ingame that says you get a gobble snipe from it, and the wiki page for that, but there's nothing on what the gobble snipes are.

It said in the mail:
"Invite a flock of feathery friends into your guild hall with Gobble Snipe Boxes!"

The stat boost COULD be OP, depends on how much of a boost it is. The staff wouldn't make it OP, though, if they did add it, because they know how to balance it. Perhaps it could be slower than the player, and stop them from moving far enough away that the Gobble Snipe would be offscreen, but when it catches up to the player, they would attack anything near the player? Perhaps it could go in the shield slot and keep things away and always be active, but have limits to how much it could keep things away?

first things first:
The staff wouldn't make it OP, though, if they did add it, because they know how to balance it.

lol. just lol. you don't know OOO history at balancing.
the slow factor doesn't resolve anything, cause you can be slower.
limit like?
and the last thing to say on any "auto attack pets" suggestion: they would annoy lots of players due to knockback, if you don't put knockback it should have a decent damage, which would make your life way too easy. we don't need damage boost, we are already killing things pretty good by ourselves.
