.....actually play this game on a keyboard?
that would ruin the feel of it for me.

Just using the keyboard, or using the keyboard with a mouse? Because I play with both the keyboard and a mouse.
EDIT: Bopp just said what I wanted to say. Care on.
I use a gamepad with j2k for a custom set-up. it looks like a ps2 controller and ive got things comfortable on it. im just glad sk doesn't have a real intricate key layout
edit: just solo raped snarbogdanoff or whatever you guys call that rat thing for the umpteenth time. i cruised around the forums for a while and im not understanding how even the dullest of noobs could have trouble with it

Some players are trying to play on terrible computers, with terrible connections to the server. That makes a big difference. And some players just have terrible skills and are slow learners.
The game gets harder as you go on. Although your armor gets stronger, the monsters' attacks get MUCH stronger, so that you can take very few hits before dying. So, even if the game is too easy now, you might enjoy it more later. On the other hand, the game is never super-difficult. If you're a hard-core gamer, then you may end up regarding the entire thing as a pleasant non-challenge. Anyway, enjoy.
actually, ive stayed away from video games for a long time, but I used to get down on some Mario back in the day. ive been out of work for the last month, the company I work for has a few bids out but nothing solid so far and i'm incredibly bored at the moment.
yeah, the game is a little on the easy side, so I cranked up the volume, but if it was for hardcore gamers I probably wouldn't have gotten into it.
I use mouse and keyboard. I have moved away from console gaming and now play Spiral Knights and a bunch of other games on my pc. Were you just wondering what other peripherals people play the game with? Sometimes I play the game with a wacom Bamboo Tablet (it acts like a mouse, but has absolute tracking and is different from mouse that use relative tracking). I do play games like Saints Row the third with an xbox wired controller though. Console games are making their way onto steam.
It's great that you are getting the hang of Spiral Knights!
getting the hang of this was easy, i was always into Zelda and castlevania and whatnot.
the one thing im not able to figure out is what in the jesus H might blue morphin' power ranger a moonstone is used for. i don't have any pokemon that can use it and ive got a bajillion of them
I used to use arrow keys until the new controls were introduced... Now I use a gamepad. The gamepad setting for Sk makes you attack super fast. That's why I don't need ASI.
yeah it does, the game cant keep up with me
Uhhhh if u have a controller how will u open the game????
someone answers that i will blow up my ferrari *points at little toy car* U dont got nuttin on is
USING THE POWER OF BACON!!!!!!!!!!!! NOM NOM NOM
Post #10 is actually a good question because there are programs that you can use to emulate mouse movement and keyboard strokes.
I use the wasd controls because I play games like that but I always wanted to use a ps3 controller on this game
From what I know, most of my friends use keyboard/mouse, or just keyboard(since they don't have a mouse).
I use the WASD movement with minor edits of some UI hit keys.
I use a keyboard and mouse. Are you talking about playing keyboard-only, with no mouse? Or are you saying that you use a game controller, with no keyboard or mouse?
