Just a while ago, I accidentally kicked the wrong person from a party because they looked very similar to the one who DCed (The one I kicked was the one who asked me to kick the DCed knight). While it is entirely my fault due to lack of focus, I figured it would be easier to have this in the UI. For one thing, it'll prevent us from having to walk through traps, shankles, fire and whatnot just to make sure the guy who stopped moving didn't disconnect.
A symbol on the teammates' portraits that tells me when they're dead or disconnected
Xtweet, the chat log doesn't tell if a knight is D/C or not. The only way (that i know of) to tell from the chat is to /tell them and have the server respond with a "This knight has been disconnected for X seconds", and that is just tedious and unnecessary. There should be a D/C symbol down in the corner of the portrait, on the left side that only shows up when a knight is D/C.
Bring back the "Waiting at lift" sign next to party a member's name and add "Waiting at party button"
@Troll-Lolo
Ture! pls bring it back and Death symbol.
and energy sign just replace it with SoL.
jelly?
^ wait, how did you change your shield meter into pips?
you gotta edit the savefiles. there is a .png file for your shield and for your health meters, copy the health meter, change the red to blue, overwrite the file, and you're done. I guess. or maybe it's SS at it's maximum awesome power.
disclaimer: don't do it, I don't want to instigate you into violating the ToS. seriously, don't.
There used to be that function back in the old UI.
With the new UI the always visible ammount of energy and crowns has been gone, too.
However, many people were complaining about not seeing these numbers always, but OOO wanted to give players another impression of this game and it does exspecially adress to new players who would not see a "linear gameplay" when they this game for the first time.
But I can not see a harm, if you can easily see whenever a player is disconnected.
BUT:
Seeing a player beeing dead with a 'Fast revive me'- symbol or a 'Get on the button you are the last one and you are so slow'-sign may influence the way a (new) player sees this game; a way OOO might not want.
I can not remember that I saw any announcement refering to hide if someone is standing on a transporter or beeing dead - feel free to fresh up my knowledge if I missed a comment from a GM.
Why not pay attention to the chat log and the names listed in your group? That, and don't kick people when you're tired/other form of attention depletion.
