I used to be able to hit zombies as they were emerging form the ground. Now it seems I can't hit them until they have fully emerged.
graveyard change?
u can still hit them, just attack when theyre halfway or 75% out
Back before the Phantoms even existed you could attack the Skellies the moment the animation started planing. If you had a Khorovod then it was a sort of absurd version of wack-a-mole.
What's really changed is how Phantoms move around.
Before, they would float about in ''will-o-wisp'' form until they were close enough to you, then they'd appear as their Phantom form and attack. -Now-, they stay in Phantom form, even if they're far away, and they just walk slowly toward you. Adds more of a creep factor to be honest.

..
Actually, in tier 1 they would wander to me in spirit form, then appear as a phantom when it was close enough. In tier 2 it would walk to me in phantom form. I'm not sure why that was, the times I went to the graveyeard for tier 1 and 2 were only days apart. But I know they walk toI know I was a little creeped out by the walking phantom.
Speaking of Phantoms, is it just me, or are there more of them now? It seems like every time I get to a Graveyard in T1, I get sucked into a mob of Phantoms with Skeletons surrounding the mob. Are they just producing more Phantoms now or have I never noticed?
@Zoa, I've been in tier 2 for a while, and this change seems to have happened a couple weeks ago. Just in tier 2, phantoms used to go to spirit form if you were a few feet from them (running away would cause them to turn into a spirit again). Now they seem to stay in phantom form permanently after they've locked onto you. This is better to me because the only reason I used to step away was to shoot them a couple times or get some breathing room, but if they turned into a spirit, they became invincible. Now they take the full damage if I should step back for a bit and shoot.
Unless you're in a party you aren't supposed to be encountering multiple Phantoms at once, ever. If that's happening to you try submitting it in a Bug Report.
Though, something I noticed is that Phantoms seem to ''revive'' much more quickly than I remember them being able to, at least in Tier 2.
That change was made a looooooooooong time ago.
