Currently there's just no way to tell whether or not your shield bashing is cursed, as far as I can tell.
There should be a curse icon over the shield icon under the health icon when your shield bash is cursed

I was always wondering why I used the shield bash sometimes when I'm cursed, and all I saw was my knight falling over dead while their body went surfing across the floor. That's probably why I get a lot of random shouts when I'm adventuring with others and that happens. Cheeky, OOO.
But it is hilarious knowing that your knight can apparently smack themself with their own shield now.

why, shield bash can be cursed? well that's new and intriguing. maskeraith's cloak doesn'tdeactivate if you bash, right? but it does when your bash is cursed, at least it should...
well, I agree with zeddy, curse on shield icon.

The shield bash is honestly the only way to get through large numbers of enemies crowded around you.

Remember that the shield bash doesn't transfer inertia; meaning that if there was an enemy behind the one you just shield bashed, neither of them would move. It does help, but not really all that much where you can't just take a 2-hit knock back sword to push them out the way.

If shield bash randomly got cursed or randomly not, then it really need the icon. If otherwise(guaranteed curse), then they are no reason to put it.
