-Combuster: Good standard sword to hit people with, and the charge is great for crowd control if you have some CTR. It is usable without it, but CTR makes it much easier. It's also a bit slower than BTB/FF, so pairing it with Vog/Chaos is good to bring it up to speed. The combo can be useful, but use it very sparingly as it's not that fast and the third hit doesn't do that much more damage. The hitbox is also significantly smaller than BTB so if you don't either use AT or get really good at aiming you're gonna have a bit of a hard time hitting people. I consider it more of an expert weapon; if you don't know what you're doing with it, you're probably gonna suck.
-Lionheart blade: Exactly like Combuster, but with a worse charge and worse damage type. Wouldn't reccomend unless for some reason you're trying to use dual brandishes, and you only have one brandish.
-Polaris: Gigantic hate magnet, but very useful for zoning if you have someone else to cover you. Low skill ceiling; pick it up and you've basically mastered it. Use at risk of being dodged, and having the entire other team (and possibly your own) hate you.
-Rigor...eh Rigadoon: Less damage than BTB, and the stun chance is too low to be worth it. Use only if you're using dual toothpicks.
-Btb: Possibly the best 1v1 weapon. Fast, powerful, and a wide swing radius. I would reccommend this to be your primary weapon unless you don't plan on using swords.
-VT: Great for locking down capture or choke points, but only if you have CTR Ultra or Max. So if you can get that somehow, it's good. (Consider using the recon class, it gives you CTR max for any bomb) But if you're going striker, then unless you have Chaos AND CTR VH UVs you're pretty much out of luck with this one.
-Storm driver: Essentially a sniper. Not very good at close range by itself, but the charge attack excels at long range and has the chance to one-hit-kill someone if you shock them on the first hit. Again, a high-skill weapon and best when paired with either lots of ASI and another alchemer, or a sword.
-DVS: Invincibility frames make it useless.
-Valiance: Great sidearm gun: Fast bullets, substantial stopping power, fast reload, mediocre damage. If you're going to make a hybrid loadout, this is a good choice as the gun half. It may be normal damage, but it's not damage-focused so that doesn't matter all that much.
-Callahan: Very hard weapon to use; fast bullets make it ok to aim but the fact that there's a very small delay between pressing "attack" and shooting makes it hard again. Plus the fact that you only get two shots, a long reload time, and you can't move while firing, and I would only suggest this if you have a VERY good idea of what you're doing with it.
-Shivermist: Same as VT.
-Acheron: Same as Combuster, but more damage.
-DA: Good heavy sword for dealing lots of damage in one hit. Be wary of combos and slow speed.
-Triglav: Worse DA.
-Combuster
yes. High speed, high damage. Obsoleted by Acheron, but still a solid choice
-Lionheart blade
no. my lvl 3 lionheart blade takes 41 hits to kill a skolver.
-Polaris
yes. Kills everything without needing to aim. Most people naturally run into it.
-Rigor...eh Rigadoon
fast, decent range, but chance of stun is too low. it can be used if you have a decent damage bonus, but is rather useless when compared to FF/btb
-Btb
better version of rigadoon
-VT
good CC.
-Storm driver
good weapon to switch to if you like alternating your weapons when fighting
-DVS
no. troll weapon
-Valiance
good weapon in general. good damage, good range, good speed
-Callahan
no. only 2 shots, and you have to stop when shooting
-Shivermist
-Acheron
Yes. One in all weapon that'll get you 60k damage by using a macro that tripleswings it while you laugh and eat cookies
(nah, it's just insanely fast and has the same damage as faust)
-DA
yes. good damage, wide swing, huge range, but the drawback is that it's SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWW
-Triglav
no. just no.

(I believe a good player should be able to play all 3 roles at least decently)
Start by removing what's not even usable.
-Lionheart is obsoleted by Brandishes
-Bombs can't be used seriously without pay to win UVs and Chaos.
-No reason to use Triglav when you have DA.
-DVS is worthless 'cause invinciframes
-Rigadoon is obsoleted by BTB
That leaves you with
-Combuster
-BTB
-Acheron
-DA
-Polaris
-Storm Driver
-Valiance
-Callahan
Note that Callahan is rather hard to use because it removes your ability to move for a short bit.
I don't recommend Callahan because of that. Storm Driver is good but you become dependent on luck with it and you can't really control your enemy with it. Polaris has no skill involved in its use and is terrible in 1v1. I thus suggest you use Valiance.
For your sword, two would be preferable. BTB has the greatest speed with a great arc on the first swing, making it one of the best swords in the game. Acheron is useful through sheer overpower so if you can learn to use it very well, you're gonna kick major butt. Since Acheron is so overpowered, I recommend it over Combuster. DA is good as a second sword no matter what the other sword you bring is because of its power vs crowds. It's not too good as the only sword in your loadout, though. Only bring it if you bring another sword. Do note that Acheron and DA share damage values, by the way. It's just that DA has elemental where Acheron has shadow.
