Item Rollbacks

In my opinion it is completely bull crap that you can not have items rolled back to your account if they are accidentally sold to a store.

The shop interface is a joke and it is way too hard to see which items are being sold when you are selling large amounts of the same item. Onto of this nonsense there is no buyback feature for this stupid shop interface.

So now if you happen to sell something REALLY RARE to a store you are screwed, even though nowhere in the terms of service do they state they don't provide item reinstatements.

After about $20 into this crap game, and a failed attempt to get some empathy from the support team, i'm done playing for good.

Dual posted.

I like this idea but here's a better one - how about you actually pay attention?!?
Man this game's hard.

You are obviously stupid and

You are obviously stupid and or haven't sold multiple quantity of the same item(40+). The fact of the matter is the vender window sucks and so does the way they deal with stacked items. An item with a UV should not stack on an item without one.

well it's your own fault then.

If you put an item into the sell window and then click confirm then it's your own fault for not paying attention. It happened to me once with an Emberbreak item, but did i go around accusing the game of poor design? no, because it was my own fault.

Except for that the fact that

Except for that the fact that our situations are not similar whatsoever. When you hit the confirm you knew exactly which item you were selling. When I hit confirm I saw 40 items stacked together, even though they are not the same item. So it is to conclude that the vender window is seriously flawed.

Also, oh noes not an Emberbreak!

Yeah I'm gonna agree

Yeah I'm gonna agree here.

The selling interface seriously sucks.

They need to warn people when they're selling items with UVs and items over a certain rarity if they're not going to change it, because it is just that easy to miss in the window itself.

And a buyback option would help negate this from happening altogether.

Exactly, and I find it

Exactly, and I find it laughable that with such a crappy system they wouldn't regenerate the items for you on a GM account. You can get GM's in Wow to solve pretty much any problem like this one and they have a huge player base. This company is too small to blow people off.

Forum members so closed minded

It's so tedious seeing so many people whose answer to everything is "how about you pay attention"-"U clicked confirm"<--this is a stupid response to the original post. Zazoo never said he was swindled or unfairly tricked into selling the item. Was he raging a little bit? Yes. But so would you if it happened to you. And before you say it couldn't happen to you...IT COULD. No one intentionally makes accidents, thus them being an accident. How about before you post some stupid response you just navigate to a thread you have something worthwhile to say on, and post there.

On top of all that, there is no reason for people to NOT want a better shop interface. It would be fantastic if you could buyback the item you just sold. There is NO disadvantage or downside to such a system. None. Not a single one.

Next time double check your inventory to make sure you aren't selling your item with a UV? If it was that rare / pricey I would be upset too, but I would also be extra careful about selling.

I doubt this was your first time selling mass quantities of items, I too have sold a UV item on accident. I like your idea of UV and non UV not stacking, especially with the NEW UV display I think this would work greatly.

Come to think of it, with the new UV display don't you think you would have noticed what you were selling?

No Paska I wouldn't. A

No Paska I wouldn't. A combination of things work against you when you are going to sell things to a vendor. 1. The scroll function on the inventory screen completely sucks and feels as if it was coded in notepad. Secondly, when all of your items are listed in the trade window under one item and UV items are included it picks a random UV item to display in the confirmation screen.

OK, sure, the interface might benefit from a few improvements. And sure, an undo feature would be nice. But...

No where in the terms of service do they state they don't provide ice creak sundaes. Or camels. Or backrubs. So where is my backrub giving camel? This is simply a flawed statement.

Wire please go troll somewhere else. Games that do not reinstate items state so in their terms of service. Your comment is very childish btw, grow up before you post.

Perhaps this could be 2 separate posts?

Could we separate this into a suggestion for how to improve the shop interface, and a general discussion about frustration? I understand you're angry zaooo, and I would be too. But you have started a flame war with those who are posting (admittedly unproductively) that made reading this thoroughly unpleasant.

If I were a dev, reading through this, I would abandon this post because its hard to figure out what you're suggesting, what specific improvements you want, and you're both openly insulting both the developers and telling them you're quitting?

–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

As to my opinion on the suggestion:

I would love a shop interface that listed items by UV, and stacked non-UV items, as well as a buyback option in the stores. It would enhance the experience of crafting for UVs, especially when you're crafting tons of items.

Perhaps items with UVs should even be worth slightly more in the stores, which would separate them out, and make selling low UVs a nice extra crown boost.

Mirrorminx that is a

Mirrorminx that is a wonderful idea. UV's should also be priced a little more in the vender window, they are after all an improved version of the base item.

I didn't mean for this to turn into a 'flame war'. People are just pretending like there is completely no use in this type of suggestion just because they are getting by with the way it is now. Why have a suggestion thread if the game needs to improvements?
