Does shield status resistence stack?

Sorry if I missed this piece of information anywhere. I remember from Glacies' studies a while back it was revealed that the status resistence on a shield made a much bigger difference than the defense (or did it?).

My question is, if a shield has natural resistence on it, will a UV stack with it? Eg. Grey Owlite Shield has maxed fire and shock; if I get a Shock Max UV on it, does it stack and offer extra resistence or will it be redundant? Status stacks on armours and helms, but I want to know if it's the same for shields? Appreciate any information available. TYFYT. :o

It appears that 5* shields with a status is entirely immune to the status already. Additional UVs would therefore not help.

As far as I can recall. Glacies will hopefully correct if I understood something wrong from that.

Zeddy is correct. The UVs do not stack because the status-resistance is already at the highest possible.
