Hello! I have decided to make a handbook on some of the most best strategies I have learned while fighting monsters in the Clockworks!
You may add on. Just in the reply section. Thanks! Extensive Research is awesome.

I only do handbook strategies on the most difficult monsters and minibosses. Please don't do negativity and say: "Ha! You can't fight that?! I can KO it in 5 seconds! You noob!"
I know, the strategies are very short, it is because if it is too long, people will have impatience.

Here it is: (Will add on)

Wolver
When I ran through the CW, I found Wolvers are most easy when using piercing first attack only, otherwise known as shield spam. If they burrow, just do a half moon turn and start spamming.

Dust Bunnies
First attack spam. The first attack spam will interrupt their attacks and will also be fast. Very simple. Just keep on doing that. Two hits and they are dead. However, it seems that if they are tougher, like in elite mode, the spamming won't interrupt their attacks. Seems like the easiest of all 3 Compound monsters.

Battlepod
Since many battlepods are unique, stick with a general strategy: Dodge their lasers/flamethrowers/spinning balls/spitting globs and the general monsters appearing and spawning constantly. Charge well your weapon and kill it once the shield drops. Easy enough. I was actually disappointed to find they were so easy.

Gun Puppy
Many ways:
1.Charge and circle around to the side or the back and kill it
2.3 combo attack
3.Guns. Nuff' said.

Lumbers
Just charge spam, they are easy to kill, because their monster functions aren't as great as Trojans, and they will often attack and miss. After charging once, just finish them off. Polaris is just perfect for gunning though.

Mecha Knight
Charge Spam and back up. Nuff' said.

Retrode
Not much challenge, just dodge their super-delay lasers and come up and beat them to death.

Devilite
Zig zag strategy when using sword. Only use first attack. Shield is of utmost importance. Guns such as the Callahan is slow, but is effective. Trying to charge attack them is risky, since they can attack in literally .25 seconds.

Gorgo
Charge attack, shock suggested. Guns, maybe? Dayum, I hate them so much and I can't find any good stuff. Their 3 bite attack is too cheap. Ideas?

Greaver
Just use the first attack of any weapon and disrupts their attack. Crowding in a corner works, unless there are way too many. Then the aura just hits you and before you know it you waste a spark.

Trojan
Charge. Blitz. Nuff' said. Or use piercing sword and charge it. One hit KO is activated, but only in Normal Mode.

Thwacker
Charge your shadow weapon and start spamming. Or....wait until it is done attacking and start comboing it.

Mender
Combo spam. Charge attack sometimes KO them instantly, if lucky and coordinated.

Scorcher
Slow and stuff. Attack them. However, the only parts I find them annoying in is: C42. Duh. AND Their barrage of flames.

Demo
Just use any brandish charge attack shadow and try and hit them. Or.....use a gun. I prefer method 2.

Mortafire
They attack, go behind and combo.

Jelly
Combo them or/and charge them. Back up.

Lichen
Easy enough. Just keep them from combining and attack them.

Polyp
Once they attack, they have a longer than usual time to "reload", so then attack them.

Glop Drop
Charge attack them with brandish chain, or heavy weapon first attack and back up, or gun, or combo, as they can't damage you when you are in a successful combo.

Howlitzer
Destroy and dodge the missile.
1.Use shield
2.Hit it with a gun

Kat
Once they stop, attack combo or charge spam

Phantom
Charge charge chargeeeee

(Honestly, the rest of the annoying undead series just uses spam charge.)

Almirian Shadow Guard
Use Fang of Vog. Kills them instantly. Charge attack.

Specific mentions:
Rocket Puppy
Guide the rockets into monsters, or take a risk and chargggee! Shield can fail you one day.....

Toxoil
Charge quickly and go in a large circle shape, so they won't rush you and corner you and set you on fire.

Bombie
Go close and shield bump away.

Maulos
Blitz spam away!

The Big Iron
Blitz spam away! Go on the right or left bottom corners and the tentacles won't attack you. First phase shield breaks after 3 lasers, then 4, then 5. Push scuttlebots, if spawned, into the corners right next to the Big Iron, and they will get stuck and won't attack you.

Just post in the comment section below to help more people!

I started writing a guide about this, but was banned for using a single word a while ago and immediately halted everything I was doing in Spiral Knights for a month.

If you're really interested, you can find it under the steam guides as "Guide for Spiral Knights", it includes guides for all of the bosses and all members of the fiend family, which is where I started when I wrote it.

Note: It was written largely before the advent of battle sprites, so is slightly outdated. All of the information in it is still somewhat relevant however.

Maybe a bit more specific. Like for trojans you have to stand like 2-3 blocks away, bait a slam, and then go behind them with a pre-charged blitz. For far away trojans you can stand still and bait a dash attack. Move a bit perpendicular to their dash and blitz while they hammer slam. For Trojans with a mix of other enemies I focus on the other guys first while keeping an eye on the trojan and occasionally baiting an attack to buy me some attack time. You can just blitz the trojan using above methods, but you will probably get hit by the other enemies unless they are slow zombies or something. Lumbers are basically easier trojans, bait and attack. You can just attack without baiting, but you might get crushed sometimes.

For jellies the third swing is not to be used. Charge attacks are safe and reliable. Troika, brandish, even calibur charge.

Lichens mean ranged attacks or hit and run with timed charges. Well huge ones at least. Try to time the charge before the giant lichen dashes toward you so he runs into it and you have some escape time. Careful when he attacks and you are not close, this is his spike projectile attack.

For tier 3 gorgons, it is best to keep your distance and spam charges or knockback as their triple bites at close range are a pain to dodge.

For puppies, just be careful and only attack right after they do. Hammer dash is very good on them and lumbers too for that matter.

Polaris or argent works on howitzers, just spam a bit more once they lose all their health and try to stay still or backing up the same direction the howitzer is facing so your shots are sure to hit.

For greavors its all about the Dark barrier barrage bomb or whatever it is called. Otherwise flourish is your best bet, the full combo actually helps if you know how to use it and be dodgy. Hammer actually works okay too if you are good at timing the dashes and making sure u land hits.

For devilites, guns are alright and running around is a good idea. Try to isolate one so you can flourish it dead. Lots of running, wait for the moment to strike! Unless you like chairs . . . . to the face.

Almirian guards and dreadnaughts. Yes FoV is super powerful. If you dont have one on you, you can also just ready a charge and by using some thinking u can predict where he will go based on who he is aggro'd on. Then dominate his backside, barriers help if you know what I mea- They help.

-------Lazy fighting techniques: Polaris spam all puppies and turrents. Brandish spam all mini monsters, and all monsters for that matter (hammer gremlins and mecha knights, i swear). Spam nitronome and DBB on enemy swarms. Shivermist works too, but makes things so slow it is not even funny, but hey it's easy mode.

General tips: Dash makes the enemies look like idiots and dont get me started on ghosting to get away. No really, dashing is insanely useful. Sometimes i mess up and hit a lumber at the wrong time, but dash helps me avoid his big arm and not look dumb.
Electron Vortex really takes care of most enemies when coupled with a sword charge. (4 Sword charges and they are done for) I actually like the 4 star bomb better cause a vortexed lumber or trojan is so unpredictable and 4 star doesnt pick them up.

BOSS TIPS:
You can shield bump the Snarbolax closer to the bell.

Jelly King (His name is actually Royal Jel- *sniped) is just charge spam time really. As we all know poisen vials and poisen barriers work wonders. Curse vial for when he starts spinning. (No dont throw it while he is spinning and red, wait till after he goes back to purple) The DLC bombs make it easy and if you have an acheron you can literally just walk up to him and start flailing till he dies.

Roarmulus, remember you can send missiles to the other side even when the other twin is not there, they often run into it if you got prediction pants.

Vanaduke, not much to say, just bait and spam blitz. Careful when orbiting, on the final stage i move perpendicular to the direction he is facing as even when i am kiting his fireballs still hit me when he dashes. (I move in straight lines cause circling him still gets me hit by his orbs of fire). Better if more than one person waters unless someone is a Water master and never misses.

Hope this helps at least one person. :|

I have found the status

I have found the status barrier pickups a great way to knock off Mortafire shields quickly. Simply turn one on, and just keep standing next to the mortafire. The orbs will either do damage from behind him or cause status (or both) which cause him to drop his shield/rocket launcher.

As for Gorgos/Devilites:

Besides using Blitz Needles for quick kills, I've found Storm Driver to be quite useful. Poking them from afar with storm hits and once you get a shock, rushing in for some quick brandish/flourish swipes. Shock interrupts are useful -- it'll keep a Gorgo from finishing his bite combo and they take a while before they start attacking again. If you are too close to walk away from the end of the Gorgo combo, dash towards it and it won't correct itself to aim at you.

Lumbers: you obviously never try volcanic pepperbox.
Mortafire + Gremlin Stalker: almost the same as momofuku, haze type bombs or hexing haze from maskeraith work so well since status effect would reveal stalker/drop shield, and guess what weapon almost kill them instantly, blitz needle >_> Even you can kill mortafire in front of his face and silly shield.
Kat: easier to dodge when you always keep near kat when it start dashing.
Puppies: best move is to dash through them then do whatever, dash will early explode rockets/howl's head without taking a damage, make you invisible for a moment that may put them back into passive mode, also nullify bullets, kat's bullets and devilite's projectiles too. Also the best move when those silly devilite dash away, you just dash approach them.

meh, the other things you said though is either combo, charge, or first swing >__>
