Does the Irontech Bomb really have a faster fuse than the Irontech Destroyer?

Hey there, Neo here.

As it says: It says on the Wiki that the Irontech Bomb has a faster fuse time than it's 5* version, meaning that it is actually a viable option for 'the bomber on the cheap'. I may not be a full time bomber, but I am most certainly on the cheap. Anywho, is there any data to support this? I don't exactly feel like making an Irontech Destroyer to find that it's predecessor was actually better!

Many thanks.

I'm not sure if the irontech

I'm not sure if the irontech bomb has a faster fuse time than the Big Angry bomb. I was messing around in advanced training with someone else and they seemed practically the same, maybe a few tenths of a second different.

As the person who wrote that there, I can verify it was accurate at the time I wrote it. I don't have any reason to believe it's changed since.

It's not huge, but it's a bit faster. I don't really regret upgrading to Destroyer, but it wouldn't have been bad staying at 4* either.

With the lack of radiants,

With the lack of radiants, are the Destroyer and Heavy Deconstructor the blast bomb lines best to invest in with staying at 4* bombs?

Deconstructor blast looks cooler (or hotter, considering the blast is red). Master Blast Bomb is better against 5/6 of all families and better against all families if you have a damage increase of "high".

Irontech Bomb has 5* radius and higher DPS than Nitronome. The only drawback is slower walkspeed while charging.

I think nitronome has higher

I think nitronome has higher DPS than Irontech cuz shorter fuse time.

Fuse time is irrelevant to DPS. It's just a delay between planting and blowing. Once you have planted, you can charge another so even if the fuse time is a lightyear, your DPS will be the same once they start blowing.

A lightyear is a distance,

A lightyear is a distance, not time. :P

But ok, I think I'll stick with the nitronome line when I upgrade my Super Blast Bomb, I'll eventually have high damage for it and will be using the sprite perk bomb focus to make up the CTR from not heating up the nitronome.

Agree. I'd stick with Nitro if I ever want another blast bomb. The slower fuse time of Irontech is quite significant and makes it much harder to get a chain going, meaning it's harder to get out of tight situations when you need its knockback the most.
