Crazy Rom Hack Idea.

Ok, so I just thought about this last night, and I know that it's absolutely insane because making a rom hack other than a Super Mario World rom hack is really difficult.
But here's the general idea, I'm a really big fan of this game series (Right now I'm imagining some of you slamming your faces into your keyboards. Just hear me out.) and then I started thinking about Spiral Knights as a Fire Emblem game. And then my mind imploded. I don't know if it's amazing, or incredibly stupid. What do you people think of this idea?

hmm.... if you want to do it
hmm.... if you want to do it and it makes you happy, go for it.
but personally I think there are better things to do and better games you could make it out of instead.
I can't say anything because I have no idea how, and I can't say that I've liked or hated FE.
