Just wanted to future-cast it now, since it won't be popular.

There is a good chance PvP weapons/armor are gonna have some special stat that pertains to attacking Knights (or something of that nature). Basically the resilience type phenomena on WoW--but for weapons and armor.

Why? Because then people will have to craft all new PvP gear 2-5*. New recipes will have to be bought and so on. Basically, we will get to pay for our equipment all over again.
I hope i'm wrong...but i'd at the very least be prepared if it is the case. I.e. prepared to not be shocked.

If PvP uses all the normal

If PvP uses all the normal attacks and damage types, then PvP gear will already differ from current favored PvE gear to some extent.

Vog Cub wouldn't be much good against Acheron, for example.

I'd like some PvP gear. How

I'd like some PvP gear. How about a wrench wand that can heal teammates? Area heal? I mean, who doesn't want to be a cute gremlin mender?

Think a Callahan (piercing,

Think a Callahan (piercing, Magnus series) with med IAS UV would be decent for PVP or too slow since you stand still? What about Blitz Needle w/ high IAS? Were autoguns and Magnus' any good in the beta pvp?
prob gonna have to make a flourish

Autoguns were drop-dead hard

Autoguns were drop-dead hard to land a hit with in PvP. By the time you knight has "planted" himself for a shot you target has moved. Leading was difficult because you needed a very large one that added quite an element of chance. There was also the hiccup that you received a few frames of invincibility after each hit that completely negated over half the bullets in a shot. The lag gremlins from the didn't help either.

Alchemers could be incredible with their charge shots. Just fire into a clump of warring knights and score hits like crazy. If you point-blank'd a person with a charge shot it would trigger that internal ricochet effect and could one-hit them.

Judging by how useful a Flourish is when flying though a pack of Devilites it should be a great PvP weapon to to counter gunners. You could zip around with those thrust attacks and throw a gunner's lead.

I would say anyone intent on

I would say anyone intent on using the Callahan would be better off using the Rigadoon instead.
It just does everything better.

Although, naturally, stun isn't that useful.

I expect Gran Faust, Sentenzas and Alchemers to be the most overused (again).
If there's team PvP in the update, then you can add 5 star Vaporizers to that list.

say no to specific PVP gear

IMO there shouldnt be new specific PVP gear
we already have items that deal/protect normal, elemental, piercing, shadow, status effects so there is no reason to implement any new type of gear (well there should always be releases of new gears but nothing specific for PVP)

so such things as gun dmg resist or sword dmg resist or such shouldnt be implemented with the PVP concept
