"Oh, a topic with this title, and from Blitz, so it's going to be a nerf, post -1 now." Nope, not what you think.
I'm going to post my thoughts about this mission here:

Mission Layout
Very interesting to have a level where the elevator goes up, and mountain based.
Spikewheel Parts can be hard(because of the lack of real defense and"fake difficulty", but i'll talk about that later in an other topic.
The fights were in a small room with respawning greavers and compound slimes, you know what OOO wants to tell you with that.
There are multiple floors, I want to see someone soloing this without any uvs or trinkets.

Rewards:
The winter reskins look epic, but there should've been more(stun/fire flourish version that uses the scarf colors, other alchemers). The problem here is getting the materials, first you have to select if you want to take the loot or risk everything on this dangerous mission. An other one is that the boxes drop the materials very rarely, so you get like 0-5 mats if you only do the first "challenge". Even if you complete the first floor you won't get much.

Thougts:
The mission has a hard difficulty, which is ok, but adding multiple floors makes it insane.
Materials drop waay to rare from boxes. The main point to play this is the materials.

Suggestion on changes:
Boxes only drop the materials/materials used in recipes get reduced.

I know how the boxes can drop crowns/heat and grinchlin snow, but people have been suggesting that there are higher drop rates when playing on a harder difficulty (advanced/elite). Maybe you should try that?

Interesting.

Blitz, I'm not gonna lie, I like you and your rebelliousness. You try to fight even when you're been proven wrong, and that's cool.

On topic:
The only way to make this mission even worth playing is to make the enemies drop hearts and heat. Whether or not the boxes drop more is kind of irrelevant to me, right now it's outright unplayable. The fact that the mats are almost impossible to get only makes it worse.

@Zaffy-Laffy

The mission is very hard, I would suggest to remove the crown/heat drops and only drop materials.

The mission is supposed to be played for materials, not for crowns or heat. OOO made the enemies count as spawner enemies, so they drop nothing. Reworking the damage would be part of a real defense system, but that will take some time and will be in my big suggestion.

Offtopic:
I'm not a random noob player that wants to add random weapons and items. I always think about something when I make the suggestions here. Sure, a lot of vanguard players think that a random new user wants to add some random weapons here, or are used to the old sk and can't think about a change on that, but it would be possible. Do you think that someone would've said +1 if a user posted the battlesprite update idea/no energy on the suggestion forum ?

The spike wheel sections are actually the most 'fair' sections in the entire mission... The wheels and snow move predictably, and there are specific ways to do each area without getting hurt.

No, it seems that they are "fair" but they aren't because the timing of spikes and wheels is always different.

He never said it was "fair", he said it was the most fair part of the mission. The closest thing the mission had to being fair.

I make you black, bluue and red all over

I only did the mission once, but from what I remember the wheels where pretty predictable and timed. In the whole misison (I reached all the way to the summit) I only got hit by wheels 3-4 times. 2 of those times was because I was rushing, and didn't know wheels were coming down since it was my first time.

The wheels are timed, but not with the spikes, so spikes can pop up at the time when you want to run. The wheels also do insane damage(unless you use ancient plate or plate line), which is a good example why the current defense is health and not the defense stats on the armor.

The wheels move in a predictable pattern without any varying speeds.

Also, the spikes are also predictable, and you can get past those if you keep an eye on them and when they switch.. There are little alcoves just before each spike patch anyway.

The only downside of this mission is payout. Materials drop rate should be higher. Adding crowns would be work since most of the player just play mission for crowns anyway.
