Chicken soup, toss a few spoons of cayenne pepper in it alongside your usual seasonings.
Your throat will be very hot, but likely numb before you're done.

Would I still need to go to the doctors for antibiotics (is it to go away temporarily or permanent?)? And thanks.
Keep taking antibiotics, I'd also recommend you get something that soothes any soreness. Because tbh, hot chicken soup like that's gonna burn a bit going down.
My family just normally gets all the illness at once, so normally tonsillitis is followed closely by cold/flu/bronchial carp/whathaveyou, so we make everyone eat some hot soups to get our immune systems going.
Never eat the beer cheese and potato soup at my house.
I would love to get some more responses before Christmas if anyone else is willing to share :D
In real life: My friend didn't have his lunch, so I gave him mine.
In game: I gave out lots of revives during the Apocrean event. Also gave out a few trinket slots a while back.
Don't tell anyone but, this year, I'm giving my mother a plastic snowglobe with a picture of me in it :3
In real life: Drawing a graduation gift for a friend, giving Mom a birthday gift, drawing a birthday card for Dad, and making a Christmas card for a hospital holiday event.
In-game: Friendship
Ingame, I spent 100,000 ce on my guilds guildhall to surprise my GM and all of our members. Shortly followed by us being bankrupted by the upkeep cost, and only recently getting back on our feet.
But hey ho, swings and roundabouts. Its the thought that counts right? :D
And then I will let this thread rest in peace. Looking for some more responses before or after Christmas :D
...never got anything because i don't celebrate Christmas and then hearing all of my friends brag about the great gifts they get. -_-

giving bunches of CE/Crowns away not because it's Christmas but because they really need it and they are my friends in SK. (Even though I didn't ask of it I think only 1 of the 7? payed me back ;) )
Well, it does not have to be a Christmas gift... it can be a birthday gift, graduation gift, or any other type of gift that you gave to someone else.
Well im about to gift too many stuff to list here, hopefully my winterfest spirit will spread across haven during christmas.
I got my brother's fever, last year for Christmas. Truly an unexpecting gift.
+1 for Magnum-Frost
"Just a reminder to everyone: the question is “what is the best gift you gave” and not “what is the best gift you have received.”
I'm going to give my girlfriend 100$ this Sunday or so, in the form of one of those debit card gifts. I, myself, won't be receiving any gifts. I am giving to give! I'm sick again, with something called tonsillitis, which is a really gross throat infection. I hear those are contagious, so I may be giving more than I intended to, this xmas year ;o
