I would like a secondary effect for my vials. I propose we allow them to coat weapons with their fluid to give them an extra chance to deal status on the next attack only. This would give a 50% chance of infliction and the status strength would be based on the vial's star ranking. This would also work with weapons that already deal status. If the status chance is >=50% then there would be a split 50/50 chance of either status occurring. If less than 50%, the vial's status would just be added. This would also work with shield bash and battle sprites, giving Drakon a chance for any of the status barriers and giving maskeraith's chaotic haze a higher chance of the desired status. This would probably just be activated by another button (modifier+vial key?).
Aesthetically, either the current weapon could be given an aura or the knight could be seen holding both weapon and vial.
Why would you coat your weapon for a 50% chance of doing the status when you could just throw the vial for a 100% chance?
