Cause some people don't want to recraft the other line of the piercing weapons from scratch. And by some I mean more than 90%. Ignore the other 10%. There's something weird with them.

Ummmm.... Potato? If players were able to do that they would basically be turning their Dark Thorn Blade into a Final Flourish, and a lot of people wouldn't like that.

And that doesn't apply to bomb? I would LOVE to have shard bombs reskin instead of reskin of regular ones that I crafted 2 years ago..... and who has CTR VH on them...

I managed to get 2 weapons from Shroud of Apocrea, and I wanted them because of their ability to poison. Even though I can't heat them because of the Radiant Drought they still have their uses.
But there is no way I'm forking out for reskins of weapons I already have. Not saying I don't like them, but having to make a duplicate weapon from scratch for an unheated reskin is a little pointless.
