I was wondering if the Fire Citadel & Vanaduke boss battle will be reworked. I play on a labtop and I followed the steps that were put out on wiki which really made the game smoother for me. But the thing is I still lag in the Citadel. The 2nd depth is even worst & when I mean lag I mean frames per second. Really enjoy playing SK but I'm not aiming to get a desktop anytime soon at the moment lol. I don't lag in Jelly King.

I don't think so. You have no

I don't think so. You have no alternative than upgrading your hardware. What are your hw specifications by the way? And what OS are you using?

Windows Vista stripped,

Windows Vista stripped, processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T3400 - 2.16GHz(2CPUs), ~ 2.2GHz, memory 3960MB RAM, also have the latest java. Not sure what you mean by hardware specifications but on gaming, 1 - 5 on base score/subscore, don't know what that is, my PC says the rating is a 3.5 average.

Same Problem

I play on a macbook and the lag in those stages is beyond brutal. I've tried everything too, still no dice. Hopefully they make a feature where you can turn off all the effects at least to try to improve performance.

I will say there's still

I will say there's still quite a bit of graphics optimization to go on this game. There seems to be performance bottlenecks in the code somewhere as I can have the game's framerate suddenly slowing down in some very specific areas on different computer hardware setups. However, when I examine system use the CPU and GPU load are at 30% or less. It certainly doesn't strike me as a hardware limitation.

You guys should have seen it when the Retrodes first appeared. Their laser blasts could cause major graphics lag on some of the more powerful computers.
