Best Gear (in your opinion!) For FSC?

So, I've got some 4* gear I've been looking to upgrade. However, I'm a lil' short on crowns and FSC gives a pretty big payout.
My question is: What's the best gear to use on a run (in your opinion)?

I've heard Vog Cub armor and Combuster are used often, but I have seen DAs and Blitzes. I'm looking for a weapon that deals good amounts of damage, isn't terribly slow (midrange to fast, please! I hate slow swords :S), and obviously has some good abilities on it (i.e. Poison or sumthing). As for guns, dunno really.

For armor, something with Fire protection obviously. And shields! I'm thinking Grey Owlite or something similar.

So toss that feedback here and give me your views!

but yeah, Chaos. Maybe pair it with a fire resist armor if you want.

Electron Vortex/Voltedge to clear out mobs
Blitz to beat the boss quickly

or if you want to use guns, then alchemers/AP

Shields, typically Grey Owlite, Crest of Almire, Volcanic Plate but once you get good enough use BTS or Swiftstrike.

Oh I'll also save Bopp some trouble and say this has been made many times before, search "FSC gear", good luck, etc.

Blitz needle is your best bet for FSC in general, but I'd recommend staying with the 4* until you've earned enough fire crystals to heat it up. Only get vog if you want the ASI on your sword, which should also be kept at 4* until heatable. If not, get seerus's mask, and invest in mask of seerus for your blitz. Seerus's mask is the best if you're using a blitz or strike needle. I personally use seerus's mask+one piece of chaos when I do FSC.

As Flowchart said I'd say, this question has been asked literally hundreds of times. People have also written guides to FSC, including equipment. Try searching Google for something like "FSC gear site:forums.spiralknights.com".

The short version is: You want normal, fire, elemental, and shadow armor (in roughly that order, although that is a matter of opinion). You want an elemental weapon such as Combuster or DA for processing undead quickly. You want Blitz Needle for killing trojans and Vanaduke. Some parties use Shivermist Buster to immobilize Vanaduke. There are many ways to do FSC, but these are the most popular.
